Excessively "dry" vapor from ceramic coils?

Hey guys, just tried a Kanger ceramic coil for the first time. I've vaped through about a tank and a half so far on the coil, and flavor and harshness are not an issue. However, I noticed that while I don't get typical dry hits (no harshness and no burnt flavor), the vapor just feels like more of a "dry" heat (as opposed to cotton feeling a bit "wetter" when I vape), and this results in drying out my throat very quickly. I did a little googling about ceramic coils, and didn't find that others had this issue. Is this common? I really want to like the ceramic coils, but doubt I'll be able to keep using them if this issue won't go away

I can only guess and come up with a theory, but it's by no means a proven "this is why"...

Ceramic coils still have a heating wire in them, it's just encased in ceramic. I would imagine the Ceramic stays hotter longer than just the coil, so you are keeping the cotton overall warmer, but probably doesn't have the heat spike when firing a typical coil... I would imagine the ceramic acts like a heat buffer...

... just a theory.
