Excited and anxiously waiting on my steep. Is this proper technique?

steeping juices.jpg
Just received my first order from ECBlend! Those guys/gals are stupendous! Their site, along with many users on this forum suggest steeping the juices for approximately a week. Now although I am an impatient person at times I feel that it is necessary to follow this advice. The two flavors i have tried already are great, but if their flavor improves this is a no brainer!
I read it is best to:
shake
remove cap
let sit in protected space over night
replace cap
shake
let sit for a week shaking daily
repeat as needed

I am amazed it took me over 30 min to uncover from this site this simple method of flavor enhancement.
Am I missing something? Just excited about this hodgepodge of sweet flavor and am eager to try them all. Thought I'd share, as i know many of you have experienced this sentiment :)

The technique is good. Better than I do actually. I just let them sit.... AFTER I have tried them. Not all juices require steeping. I am not familiar with ECBlend. I would try them first, because like you, I still get excited when a new juice arrives. If it tastes good, vape away and it just might get better as you go. If it tastes fair, let it steep at least a week. If it tastes like crap, put it in the back of your rotation and try it again someday in the future. If you keep trying it and it still tastes bad, put it in the proverbial deep storage or...'emergency only' stash.

Good Luck!

levisdaddy, I think you're on the right track. Totally agree with Burly. I can also never let a new juice sit for any length of time before trying it. OTOH, if I've bought a repeat fave and I still have some of the old batch, I let the new one go at least until the old bottle is empty. I try to re-purchase a favorite about a month before I run out. I also have had some really bad juices turn out OK after a month or so.

This is what me and my husband do.

Shake each bottle vigorously for at least 30 seconds or more. Remove cap and dripper. Store in a dark, cool or room temperature area (a closet or in our case an empty dresser drawer) for 24 hours. replace dripper and cap, repeat shaking process. Store bottles back in the same place for 4 days, making sure to shake at least once, like before, each day. After the 4 days again remove cap and dripper for about an hour (let them breath on last time) then place back onto bottles. Store again one last time for the remainder of the week remembering to shake daily. Then your all set! Makes a big difference with most ECBlend juices.

Rachel is exactly right ... as a matter of fact its exactly how I do it? Coincidence maybe? No because shes my wife lol. We actually get all our juices from EC Blend now. The quality is quite good and the price is unbeatable compared to other places. I find they're flavors are at the same, if not better, quality as some of the more well known company's but for half or more of the price. Not to mention all the custom-ability you have. Do to that ability though all the juices are made/mixed the day or day after you order them making them super fresh. Juices need time for the flavors to mix properly with the nicotine and base mix to get best possible flavor. Ive gotten several juices from them that I either was just unimpressed or didn't like when we started vaping them the day we received them. We let them steep (didn't know we steeped them because at that time we didn't have a clue what steeping was or that it was needed). A week or so later we tried them again for what ever reason and they were fantastic to our surprise. Most negative reviews I read about their flavors are people who didnt steep them. Ive seen several of those said reviewers reply later on the complaint that they became believers in EC Blend after they learned about steeping them. Bigger size bottles and tobacco based juices favor especially well from steeping.

Stellar! Nice to meet some ecb fans that can relate!
Question, although this may be for a whole diff thread. I have two ego-c, 5 attys, scratch that, 4 attys and two kanger t2 clearos. How would i go about trying all the juices without cleaning every part inbetween each flavor. If i want to take only a couple drops of each one, how can i avoid the cleaning (and drying) that would make the process of trying them all kinda labor intensive?
