That's how I feel about steeping.. I guess if there's something I don't care for, I may set it aside and try again later, hoping the offending aspect settled down beneath favorable tones, and I could see a complex recipe like ejokers needing more time to meld flavors - but if something is good, vape it lol

I loved Bluebacco, Melonbacco and Applewood right away and just kept right on vaping.
My Casa and Backo were also great for me right from the start. I don't have the regular 555, but I'm having to let the 555 Exotic steep. I think I'm going to have to add Vanilla Bean or one of the Maltys to mellow it out for my tastes. We'll see..........
I ordered the 555 Exotic with the hopes that I'd like it better than the original. I just couldn't vape the original 555 because no matter how long I steeped it, which ended up being like 3 or more months, I could still taste/smell nothing but a floral-rose..no hint of anything even remotely resembling a 555 tobacco. When I first got the 555 Exotic (born date 7/13), it had the most awesome nutty smell to it and I just had to try a couple drops. Was not impressed...had that familiar rose flavor, so I put it away to steep. Today 7/27, I pulled it out again and dripped a few drops. NOW I am starting to be impressed! I am tasting a nice nutty flavor starting to come through and I just know that within another week or so, its just going to POP with the flavor I am looking for! Thanks Don for developing something new and wonderful for us!
I'm REALLY digging the 555 Exotic now. When I first got it I tried it and it was OK, but nothing special. I tried it again on Monday and it was AMAZING! Definitely let it steep for a bit if you're not impressed when you first get it. Mine was born on 7/15. I got the BluBacko in the same shipment and it was awesome right out of the mailbox. It tastes even better now after steeping for a couple of weeks!
@ Dopeh and Clutch: Just curious....do you find you need to dedicate a separate atty for your Exotic as Don suggested?
Nope. I do blow my atty out every morning, refill REO with today's flavor and go.
Rocking some Menthol Hunter's today, over yesterday's Exotic. I'll probably drip some Exotic at some point - you guessed it, right on top of my Hunter's.
I might not be the best example, as I pretty much only vape tobacco and they all blend well imo. If I vaped cheesecake or cotton candy I may not want it served over a bed of tobacco leaves lol YMMV.
Don's tobaccos are tobacco flavored, that's why I like 'em so much, reminds me of Denis Leary doin that "coffee flavored coffee" bit:

LOL! Although it is a caricature, I was looking at it for a while last night and it's pretty spot on, huh? I can't wait for the new season myself!
Rar, I just blow out my atty after I use it and the flavor is still there for a few hits, but it goes away after a while. It's pretty much all I've been vaping lately, though, so not many other flavors have hit my atty in the last couple of day. I think I found my new favorite! Although....I haven't been able to get my hands on any RY4 or Joker's yet. Hopefully when the next batch comes around I can get some!
