So what have been other Canadians' experiences with GH1? I am thinking that I am going to put a fairly big order in for like 20 packs of boge cartos and 2 1000mah batteries (no juice). I would like to know ship times as well as quality with the batteries. Right now I'm ordering my juice and hardware from different suppliers and it seems kinda redundant. As much as I love dealing with Jack for hardware it's very tempting to be able to get the boge cartos at half his price and get the LR ones too. Also if anyone has a coupon code I would be rather grateful.

I've heard tell of ship times between two and 4 weeks. my last shpment took four. but there was some kind of holiday going on in china. The guy that runs it is in canada. tim is his name and he's pretty good with the customer service aspect. I've got another order in for the mock 1000mah ego bat and some lr510 cartos. was placed on the 23rd and is waiting to clear customs as of thursday afternoon.

Well let me know how the 1000mah batteries are, they say they come with a 1 year warranty so I'm hoping they are good. I've got no problems waiting 4 weeks if I have to, I've got lots of cartos and I order juice domestically. I'm really looking to make my final hardware order and not have to worry about it anymore. And soon, if all goes well I'll be vaping 0 nic and can make my juice completely from local ingredients.

Tim, you should know that the 1000 mAh battery at GH1 is not a genuine Joye eGo batt. It may be a perfectly fine imitation...but yeah, just saying. [EDIT: Oops, DemonCleaner already said as much. No worries then.]

You should also know that the general rule of thumb (for Joye batteries anyway) is to expect 200 charges or so before it's time to replace the battery. So I wouldn't expect any eGo battery to last beyond 6 months. 4 months is probably more accurate (at least for reasonably good performance) since over time the battery will lose the ability to hold a charge. So comparing how an eGo is when it's new, to how it is after a few months of heavy vaping...it'll need to be charged more frequently.

As to the cartomizers, if you don't mind waiting then yay! They're genuine Boge cartos & that's good. I'd be careful to make sure you only order one kind though at a time (LR or standard), because GH1 only has the black ones. Unless there's something on the packaging of the LR ones to indicate the difference (which I don't think there is, but I don't know this for sure)...you'd have difficulty knowing which was which until you filled one & vaped with it.

Anyway...happy vaping!

The 1000 mah battery does come with a one year warranty. So even if it does pack it in in 11 months Tim will replace it although you will have to pay the shipping for the return but you can send the defective part to Tim in Toronto which would help save on shipping costs.

GH1 has by far the best warranty of any vendor anywhere. That speaks volumes to me.

Nice, well that about settles it. I'm gonna grab two of those batteries and a whole bunch of cartos. I plan on ordering 50/50 LR and normal and if theres no marking on the package I'm sure my multimeter will be able to tell no problem. I might even grab another charger so that I can eventually give a full ego set away to my dad or one of the other smokers in my family. Thanks for the input guys.

I didn't think I was going to be this impatient but I guess that's just me. My GH1 order shipped out last monday and the tracking info hasn't updated since last friday. Still says it's somewhere in China, is this normal and just a product of crappy EMS tracking? Not worrying, just anxious to try those new LR boges :p

For me...... most my orders from GH1 don't update until the end of the second or beginning of the 3rd week. There has been instances where it has not updated at all until after I have received it.

I don't think it unreasonable to contact Tim after the 3rd week has passed without update or receipt to have the packaged traced.

Wow man, that's an awesome link! Thank you. It popped out my info right away "International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs" hopefully the customs agents don't screw me around.

Edit: apparently I can use the same tracking number GH1 gave me for EMS with Canada Post and it works as well. It doesn't give the detailed info at the origin country but it gives more detailed domestic info.

Ok, this is weird then that it's taking this long to ship. I just received a shipment today for some stuff that I ordered on the 18th, and shipped on the 19th..

Hang in there, it may have missed the plane or taken a longer route.

Got 2 packs of Bridgeless 510 attys for me, and Hotone ordered up some cartos and driptips. The 6 month warranty on the atties make them a no brainer.

Can somebody confirm that we can ship to Tim in Toronto for warranty replacement? Has anyone done that yet and received replacements?

Works that way with any trackable package coming into Canada. Once it hits Canada the tracking is more accurate. I love seeing the out for delivery pop up =)

Thanks Dusty for grabbing that stuff for me.

Nice link Wing... thks !

Canada Post wasn't updating and this link showed a shipment that wasn't in the CanPost tracker yet. Guess I'm getting another GH1 shipment Monday/Tuesday :D

-Greg

I hope it's hardware to support all that juice you have coming in?!
