heh, ya I have bad luck with speedy shipments from the US so we will see :)

LOL i hear you on that one....starting to think it is faster for me to get my wife to accept the shipments, then go the ace team of UPS (serious, the guys she goes to for this should be working in the UN, they can solved the global Deficit, they are seriously that good) or even USPS and apply a few...options......(which was tried to be presented to the forum before, but now: meh). Total turn around time would see the thing in my hands in about 8 or 9 days from when i first ordered off the site...

.....then again, i guess there is no harm in getting these stocked up for the reserve supplies and ask my wife to ship them to me as needed :D

T -427 days.....if ONLY i could go to sleep and wake up in 425 days *sigh*

Geez you're sure buying a lot of stuff lately! Are you working now? I am glad that they will ship to Canada now. I've bookmarked 'em again.

without bringing down the mood, or getting all depressing like.....something finally came through.....(makes family get together way easier as i no longer have to go t them :p or Christmas and such) might as well kick back, fill a phoenix slap it on the darwin and have a moment of touting silence when it comes in eh?

May 31, Halo sent a USPS Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box, 4 weeks later.. it has yet to arrive!! Grrr! In that time time I've had mod parts from China sent by cheapest airmail arrive in 6 days to Canada (Amazing!) and other china parts in 10 to 15 days. My house mate [The Doctor] had a new mod sent USPS Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box from California arrive in 7 days and another Flat rate box of Tasty Vapour 0 Nic order was only a few days longer ..but Tasty Vapour sent it to Saskatchewan instead of Ontario, the postal code was correct tho and it still made it here in good time!

If my missing unaccounted for order has been held by HC then they should be taken to Civil Court!!

That's kind of strange. Everyone else in Canada (I'm generalizing, but close to it) will tell you that USPS is the way to go. Lots of folks on here have had nightmares with UPS, Fedex, DHL, and the rest. USPS does a great job compared to other carriers in my experience, and from what I have read (except your post).

HunnyBunny, UPS really isn't a viable option to bring our items into Canada. For one the Brokerage fees are insane! I once had to pay $70 some dollars for UPS brokerage fee plus taxes on a $55 item!!

I have to agree with you there. UPS has been hellish for me to deal with in the past, and experience has taught me that if UPS is the only shipping option, then I'm not ordering.

Yes that's the main issue, the extra fees! I forgot that Hunny was in the US, that 'splains it!

well,, i guess in the case of UPS VS USPS, i will say it all depends on how it is sent, as hunny bunny and myself have a crack shipping team, that i have the receipts to, and will be scanning them soon (with personal info edited, after all i like being impersonal lol) as there is certain importation rules you can be covered by....but then again this is just our experience....maybe it has to due on if it is a vendor shipping and frequency that you get the items?

Either way i will make sure to ask for USPS when i go through some more web sites that i have here to order gear....Yes i have a full time paying job now, it is the editor of the magazine which means i can now offer funds for the staff (all three of them currently) as a way for helping with it's creation....odd how some things work out and how quick you get financial backing out of the blue :D

When I used to do computer hardware reviews, even with free items sent to me stating not for resale/demo unit/etc... I always had to fork over money to pay the brokerage fees, and if they put a value on it even with the above notes, I would have to pay the taxes.... so the so called "free" items for review still cost me...

I ordered some poker books from the states and by the time brokerage fees and taxes were added up they cost more than the books.

When the guys at the review site would send stuff back and forth for helping each other out with gear or what not , whenever it went across the border we always did USPS and never incurred any fees ever.

I am with the others when they say if it isn't usps when it comes from the states I want no part of it....

Odd how some people say they're not doing things for profit and then they do! :D The world is very strange indeed.

Strange days of uncle jack.....i swear those Mayan's with this 2012 stuff.....somewhere they are kicking back, cracking open a cold one and having a good laugh....

My guess is the Halo order in in the hands of Health Canada. I think the larger US vendors are under watch as I had orders from V2, SI and Halo all held and eventually sent back, while my orders from smaller vendors made it through. I stopped ordering from the US entirely because of this, but could not resist the free shipping to Canada from surevapes (and the prices).
