I saw my doctor 2 days ago and I brought my e-cig with to show her the parts and how it worked. She was interested in the parts... how it assembled and disassembled. She let me take a puff and show her the vapor. She didn't say anything pro or con, but I could tell that she was familiar with e-cig being around and in use...

I told her I was hoping to be analogue free by Easter.

I think doctors could become our best allies.

Has anyone else talked to or shown their doctor their e-cig?

I posted earlier (buried somewhere) that when I went to the ER and was admitted to the hospital, ALL the MDs were intrigued and positive, as well as all the nurses. I was allowed to use my e-cig during a one-week stay, without any funny looks except for positive curiosity. My follow-up with an orthopedic surgeon said "that's the way to go!" after I demo'd it in front of him during the exam. My regular doctor, too, was impressed that I was no longer smoking tobacco and happy to see that. She had NO problem, only explained to me that nicotine is addictive.
