Extended Warranty

The extended warranty notes that all electronics are covered, was wandering if they were covered in the original 1 year warranty?

A quote from Credo is here:

First, did you get the extended warranty?
The terms of service are quite different if you did not, and spelled out in their order forms.

Was wandering what is meant from this?

Hoping the only difference is just the time covered, any suggestions?

After reading what I could find it appears to me that the extended warranty is identical to the factory warranty, just stretches it out an extra year.
