i'd like to direct this towards past/current provape vapers...

so, there's about 14 hours til we can order the provari minis in satin black with blue/green leds. i probably shouldn't, but i'm going to order mine as soon as the site lets me. i only have about $225 to spend. i think the black mini will be about $200 ($159.99 plus $20 for black satin finish & $20 for blue led?) anyway, i'm considering the extended warranty since it must be purchased with the original order.

here's my question- do you provape users think i should purchase the warranty? has anyone ever had a problem after the original 1 year period? i want to be covered just in case something happens. only reason i'm thinking of passing on it is because of all the positive comments i've read here on the forums. from all the stuff i read here i've come to the conclusion that provape takes very good care of their customers. it seems provape is always more than happy to help resolve problems to keep customers satisfied. from putting out a superior product to excellent customer service, i'm sold on this company.

so, if i don't purchase the warranty, i can get the 18490 extension cap or batteries so i can use it as soon as it gets to me. or should i get the extra (but probably unneccessary) protection? please advise...

I have 2 provari's.. Going to get the black mini with blue led.. I never got the extra warrenty on my other 2.. Don't think I will with this 1 either.. I figure u got a year with it.. So if anything would happen it would probably happen within the year.. Never had a problem with my other 2.. That is just my opinion though..

All respect to provape in everyway(right now trying to flood juice using an empire drip shield and it has not worked in over 3 1/2 hours) A warranty is a wish you had a guarantee, .Will my vari have issues? most cetainly but sending it back for me and paying the going rate works best for me and makes me feel like the service I need is matched by the cost.I have never paid for insurance that is not needed without question(liabilty fire health etc).I may get burned by this cause so far have no hurricane insurance while living is south florida but so be it.Asking someone to fix something under warranty that is not life changing( my idiotic way of not having hurricane coverage) with extended warranties is a pain(in my mind cause I feel I am getting something for nothing).Sorry for the rant but down my way hurricane insurance is $6200 as to non huricane at $1400.Health insurance is almost worse.

I'm pretty sure I asked and got official confirmation before getting one.
But hey I can hold on to warranty and use it for the fellow i sell it too so in both way you are wrong.

are you "sure" or "pretty sure?" i don't plan on selling it, but i got this from a different thread-

The warranty is non transferable because Its too hard to track the units once they go to a new owner and who sold it etc.

Hope this helps,
Ken

and from what i understand, ken is the man at provape.

I do not plan on selling it either.
And in the worse case scenario I'll send it for a full checkup before selling it.
I asked before buying and sales service wrote me that is possible to transfer warranty only once IF I take the 1 year extention.
Maybe the person (from provape sales by mail which I still have) who told me this wasn't telling the truth but making me spend 24$ more for nothing.
Let's just say I hope you are wrong or maybe warranty policy evolved since the thread you are refering too?

Straight from Provapes mouth
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/298163-warrenty-transferrable.html

This thread was only a few days old

Also here on Provapes site in the terms and conditions it clearly states

PRODUCT WARRANTY
This warranty is extended only to the original end-use purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift, and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.

The ProVari's electronics are covered by our 1-Year warranty from the date of purchase by the original end-use purchaser. ProVape warrants that this product, when delivered to you in new condition in the original packaging and used under normal conditions is free from any defects in manufacturing, material and workmanship.
