Extender cap won't screw all the way

I already emailed provape, but while I wait I wanted to know if anybody else had the same problem and if they solved it themselves. I got the extender cap in the mail today, and I am using AW IMR 18650 1600mah batts, I measure the battery to the nipple and it measures 65mm just as the 2000mah provape sells. Here is the thing the cap won't screw all the way and will leave a gap of a little over 1/8", it works fine but I want it to look flawless, I don't want to force as I may damage the board or push it out. If anybody can shed some light on this issue while I wait from a response from provape I will really appreciate it. Keep in vaping!

Wow that's what I call amazing customer service, got a response in less than 5 minutes!!! There was dirt on the threads of the extender caps that was barely visible, customer rep told me to run a xacto knife on the threads and voila screwed all the way in! Awesome
