I realize I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but could someone throw together a simple schema (even in just paint shop) with 1 or 2 LED's? It's scalable, so that would be enough, and the values aren't important, just the layout. I'm trying to learn here, but have a limited knowledge of electronics components.

As payment for your assistance, I'll give back to this thread, with a more detailed howto (in half literate noob speak, which should be good for just about anyone else interested in doing this)

Do each of the LED's in your vmeter have different cut on voltages (as far as specs go)?
