I've been interested in a P10 for some time now, but hesitated to order because I hadn't been thrilled with mods I've tried (mostly due to size) and, despite the problems with them being unsealed, I really like auto batteries because pushing a button was always a distraction for me.

Then I saw a P10 for sale in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago and I just couldn't resist giving it a whirl, and I'm so glad I did.

This is the most expertly designed, elegant mod I've ever seen and the bottom button is so perfectly devised that it's almost like not having a button at all.

I had watched a Grimmgreen video where he mentions that he found himself having a problem using the bottom button because he would have to rotate it in order to get his finger placed inside the cutout to push the button. But if you're female (or a guy with small hands, I guess :2cool:) it's a non-issue...I'm not even aware that there is a cutout and the button is so easy to push that it's just becomes a part of the action of picking it up.

I guess you could call it a blonde moment , but when I first got it, I assumed the battery went in the bottom and was confused when the battery wouldn't fit. I actually had to go watch that video again to see that it unscrews from the top, but even knowing that, it's so perfectly constructed that I can't even see the seam without tilting it into the light at just the right angle.

I know, I'm just spouting a bunch of stuff most of you in this forum already know, but I'm not exactly a newcomer and have tried so many different models, yet I am in awe of the -aptly named- Precise.

I know there's a lot of people who don't like 10440 batteries, but the smaller size is worth the trade off of having to change batteries more frequently. Plus I'm using the IMR's which perform better than the regular ones.

But now I've been wandering around here a bit and I'm reading about a 14500 model which sounds like it might still fit in to the smaller size category I prefer and I'd like to see it alongside a p10 for comparison.

I'm sure there's a picture of these two together somewhere I've overlooked - if so, would someone point me in that direction?

Good morning JustMeAgain!

That is really good news to hear! If you want, make the switch to the AW 10440 battery and you'll get even more oomph out of it as it outperforms the IMR 10440 battery, both in it's ability to hold higher voltage under load and longer life!

I just don't 'get' batteries - I've made an effort to read and understand the different types, and I've pretty much decided there are two kinds - big and small.

But, now, oomph I understand completely.

I saw three different kinds of 10440 on your site but I don't see any that say AW.

You probably already know, but these are what I'm using and they're not bad at all, but if there's more oomph out there, I want it.

I'm assuming you have these but I'm just overlooking them?

They are listed as AW ICR 10440 towards the bottom of the page here:

I get a gigantic DUH for not seeing those -

I've got some in my cart, but I want to make sure that it's ok I'm using LR cartos - Also, is this charger that I have ok for these?

Thanks!

the Tr001 will charge them. Many also use the AW and IMR 10440's with LR atomizers and cartos, though some claim it may shorten their longterm life due to "stressing them", however, given they are used only in short bursts and a releatively inexpensive battery to begin with, i haven't noticed any problems with lifespan.

it just don't get any better than the Precise and the excellent customer service that Super T offers JustMeAgain! I'm glad you found the Precise and pulled the trigger. I recently had the opportunity to help a fellow vaper out with her P10 and was amazed at how tiny it is. I've owned quite a few mods too and once I got the P16 I knew it was simply the best I could get, period. I've got the P18 and 'patiently' await the arrival of the P+18650. With the Vape Mate I can finally leave the house for work with ONE thing, not a device, bottle of juice, and spare battery.
