Sam, it needn't get expensive, well apart from one good outlay for a big battery mod :D.

I've been vaping for coming up to 3 years. Started off with a super-mini in mid July 2008 (such a limited choice back then). I now mainly use my GGTS - virtually unbreakable, 18650 batteries are cheap & last for a year or so, plus all the safety issues such as locking button, vent holes that are standard with GG's :)

I used to be a very heavy smoker so I've saved a fortune over the last few years by buying carefully :)

Liberty Flights is a good choice in the UK. They have the Ego-T (Tornado Tank is just a rebranded Ego-T) as do several other UK vendors. Here is a list of vendors and owner names that another member said they use:
Cam - UK GG Stockist
Toby - Ivapour
James - Paradise Vape
Kev - FreedomVape
Aaron - Ecigwizard
Lisa - Cloud9
Tim - Moju Republic
Enjuice
Totally Wicked/TECC
OK Smokey
Liberty Flights

I found this sale this morning for a Riva http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tteries-10ml-e-juice-33-95-free-shipping.html

Other fat battery models for the 510 atomizer are the E-Power (a 510 model with a removable 3.7v 14650/14500 Li-Ion battery with 1050mAh) and Riva (available in a 510 model or a 901 model and has a 750mAh and new 1100mAh, so ask which one you are getting if they don't list specifications... get the 510!) are also in the same (or better) class as the Ego Tank . Better mAh on the batteries.

And, you don't have to buy a Ego Tank in order to use the Tank atomizer system, you can also just buy an Ego (650 mAh) or see if you can find an Ego kit that also has one of the Ego XL batteries in it (900mAh) or buy one as an extra XL battery (which you'll need eventually anyway, LOL).

As long as the Fat Bat unit you buy is 510 compatible (which the Ego, Riva all are) you can get the Ego Tank atomizers to try out in addition to your order (which is what I'd recommend to do) and just use the 510 atomizers that come with the unit (which you can buy just about everywhere). You'll also be able to try out the 510 cartomizers or other 510 fitted accessories like the pump tank cartridge for 510 attys (I just got some, and love them).

The E-Power would need a 510 extension to run the Ego atomizers, tanks, etc. The collar extends too much for Ego attys to fit. The 510 attys fit just fine though.

My recommendation of the above fat bats is the E-Power. You can purchase the Li-Ion batterys and charge them yourself and just put them in the unit's battery shell. At about $5 usd for a battery, I'd think that would cost you much less in the long run. Also look for discount codes before buying to help save some money. Ask here before ordering anywhere and we'll help you find codes.

BTW, thanks for the Hedges link. The reviews look good so I think I'll give it a go!
