Hi,

I am a newbie here on the forum so I am posting in the newbie forum. I just got an EZ Tank with a xl carto that has 2 holes punched in it. I got an extra punched carto to go with it. I watched a couple of videos on how to fill it. It's a standard j-tank style carto tank system that uses xl stainless steel dual coil low resistance cartomizers. Now I filled up the tank about half way and then put about 15 drops of juice down into the fill of the cart. I let it sit for a few minutes and got the slushie look that I am always after on my carts. I put it on my device and upon firing it up I almost choked on all the juice that came out of my drip tip. I could never get the cart to stop flooding. I dumped all the juice back out an all over myself. Then I tried again with the second cartomizer thinking that the first one was bad. I had the same result with the second. Most of the issues I have seen on the forum have to do with a cart that stays too dry. What could be causing my carts to gurgle and spit and leak out the bottom hole? Please help because I don't think it's the tank. The seals are all tight on the cart and I don't get any leaking except through the very bottom hole of the carto.

i punched my own holes... its actually pretty easy.. i do suggest buying the syringe thingy with the bendy plastic flat tip needle... you can fill your tank to the top with no mess i got my syringe thing for $3.00

as far as the juice shooting out that happened to me too when i was using a LR carto on a 5 volt mod... when i tryed a HR carto it worked fine

IMO the EZ tank is truly EZ to use

Hi guys.

I just bought an Eztank and was having the same problem.
The carto would act like a straw, draw all the juice in, then the juice would leak out the bottom of the carto.

The cartos I got just were not for an eztank. They're holes were too big and too low.
The internal o-rings are really high and close to the bottom of the inside of the tank.
If you do not see all the whole in the tank, then it's probably crossing over the o-ring, breaking the seal.

When I tried to use the cartos they sent like this, the carto had to be inset from the bottom of the tank by about a 1/4".
It would work ok for few puffs, then leak again.
What finally fixed the problem was use a dremel to cut a slit in one of my own carts.
Using a slit doesn't cause the shape of the carto to be deformed and is easy to line up with the bottom of the inside of the tank.

Good luck,

Bill
