It is about equal for me. I spend my time evenly between e-mail, news, a political blog site, ebay, facebook, and two or three sub-forums on ecf. When I first found ecf, I think I was here 24/7 for several months. I read everything possible and posted a lot. Now I just check my favorite sub-forums and only post occasionally.

I don't understand why people complain about Facebook. The content you get is really based on who you are friends with. If I start seeing too many stupid or offensive things, I just unfriend or hide the person(s) posting them.

It is a useful tool. I have teenagers, and I joined facebook to "friend" them - and all their friends. I can keep an eye on what's going on in without looking like I am doing so. My family is in Ohio and a lot of my friends have moved all over the country. It is a convenient way to keep in touch with everyone.

Now Farmville, and Mafia Wars, and all those silly games....forget it. I wasn't even that interested in video games when I was a kid back in the 80s.
