Well as far as juice I foolishly tried a 80vg 20pg juice in the tank I currently have. I soon after learned that the coil can not handle the thickness of that juice. So for now I am back to 50/50 till I find a better tank. As far as flavors I don't do any tobacco flavors anymore. I found a chocolate I like but it seems to burn in my tank after a day or so. As I said I am very new to the world of vaping and going through a lot of trial and error as I realize there is so much more than what I experienced over my first few months.

The darker the juice the more apt it is to gunk up your tank. In my experience, a really dark juice like a chocolate or something like it will pretty much half the life of a coil than a less darker juice.

But you need to back up your mod and you should back up your charger too. You might spend extra for a nice charger but you should at least have a basic but reliable and inexpensive spare charger in case your main charger dies. Same with the Subox, if you like it, buy another one sooner than later, or buy something else to back it up.

The secret to quitting smoking is to always have a working mod, 24/7/365. It can take a lot of back up to get there. That includes a minimum 2 days supply of batteries and since I'm a chain vaper I go through a lot of batteries.

^^^ Agreed .... Yeah seems like a person should have a duplicate of everything......... I never had a problem with that happening as far as hardware is concerned (I got lucky) but I did have a problem with the e juice and almost ran out of it. It got delayed in the mail and came a day later than anticipated...... I had to resort to a couple of those miserable cigg-a-likes........ They don't do much for me but I suppose they were better than nothing. I had to suck on them for a day until my e juice arrived. Of course, back then I did not create my own juice. I never have to worry about things like that now because I have larger quantities of all components to make ejuice and order any I may need way ahead of time.

I am quite sure I am only one puff away from a total relapse. It's just the way I was. I don't ever plan on testing that idea.

^^^ Yeah, me too........... I am quite sure my wife would not appreciate the monster that I would turn into should something suddenly happen to all my vape gear. I am sure I would be most miserable to live with as I would feel miserable myself.

Finally, sub-ohming is not all it's cracked up to be. It is really about the power. A 30-50W device will give you a great vape at any usable resistance value. If you get something like the Subox you may find, as I did, that I get a great vape on 0.5 ohm coils and 1.x ohm coils, at the same power level and I personally like the 25-35W range, depending on things.

^^^ agree ..... Yep, it truly is all about power and I can produce some nice vapor clouds as well as nice flavor with a higher resistance coil setup.... In order to vape with awesome clouds and flavor, you simply do not need the low resistance. I can get totally satisfied with one of my vape pens that contains a 1.8 ohm coil and only puts out a few watts....... The only thing about that pen is that the wattage is super low and it is non adjustable......... So, I went for larger pens and box mods........... But, sometimes in my RDA I will build higher resistance coils (above 1 ohm) when I am in the mood for some great flavor. None the less, I still get some pretty good clouds and vapor with the higher resistance coils. Currently I am running a 0.4 ohm build I made but that it only because I am in the mood for some larger vapor chucking today......... I suppose I build depending upon my mood. Strange I know but it works for me :)
