I use a couple fans in the room that I vape in. I have one in the window to exhaust the vapor and one on the floor to circulate air. I started noticing small pools of liquid around the bases of the fans. Upon investigation, the liquid has no odor or color and is the consistency of PG/VG. I then tilted one of the fans and the liquid poured out of the area the blade is. I then went around to every room I vape in, that has a fan, and noticed the same! Does anyone else have this issue?

I guess it makes sense that would happen. There's PG or VG in the vapor. It's sticky and likely to get on the blades, then it could drip down to the bottom of the fan. The fan I have sits on top of a cabinet and there's nowhere for VG to accumulate at the bottom of the fan, plus I only run it occasionally. How long does it take for a noticeable amount of liquid to build up?

I think VG absorbs water as well so it could be pulling water from the air and diluting itself (deliquescence?) which might account for it running out when you tilt the fan. VG and PG don't flow that well.

lmao...

do you live in an area with high humidity.. wait you're in cali.. not %100 sure where fairfield is... but if you have central air, i could vaguely see a reason for build up if it a very small room... that or you're a chain vaping addict heheheh... i've only noticed build up in either of our trucks.

I've had one of the fans for about 5 months. If I had to estimate, it had about 15ml pooled up at the bottom of the shroud. The other fan has been almost a year and it's hard to tell, it has air intake on the side and blows air through the front, I tilted it and a ton of liquid came out of the side intake area. I've noticed this with older fans in the past, but I thought it was some type of oil from me running them too long.

I had vapor start forming droplet behind my monitor under the hutch from vaping. It also has caused a white film to build up on the window of my truck when blowing it out the window on a rainy day with the heat and defroster on. At least it isn't that brown film that used to coat everything and stunk like a dirty ashtray!
