So, just for the hell of it, I decided to take apart an older type Vision clearomizer which never worked that great (probably why we have the 'stardust' now) and it was fascinating to see all the working parts exposed; I cracked the white plastic part at the top of the center tube, and I really don't think the outer tube was ever meant to come off 'in the field', so it'll never go back together, but it gives me a good look at the inner workings of the Vision series clearomizers for when I need to strip down my stardust for deep cleaning.
