Fast tech ego evod, button blinks 10 times, no vapor

hello. I just got my ego evod from fast tech, and at furst, the battery had no charge, and I had trouble charging it so I made a thread in the new members forum. Got that problem solved and now the battery is charging, but when I attach the cartomizer to the battery and press the button and try to take a hit, the button blinks ten times and no vapor is produced. I tried pressing the button 5 times in a row to toggle on/off, no luck. when the battery is unattached, I can toggle it on and off with the 5 presses and if I hold it down it glows solid. So I don't think its a battery issue. it seems as soon as it comes in contact with the cartomizer or whatever, it starts the blinking. any ideas as to what this means? thanks in advance

Since it turns on/off without anything on top, try a different topper. Sounds like it may be seeing a short.

Also, don't over tighten your topper. Snug is fine, you just need to make a connection. It's possible to create a short by over tightening the topper, as is can crush the insulator down.

Egos are crap. Go buy a real battery/mod. Stop wasting time with Chinese junk. I learned the hard way too.
