Fast tech Vamo shipping

I ordered a vamo v3 from fast tech last week on the 24th and chose the free 5-8 day shipping. They sent me an email on the 26th that said it was shipped and gave me a tracking number. The tracking number did not pull up anything until yesterday, the 30th, saying it was accepted in Hong Kong. There is no estimated delivery date or anything on the USPS website. I thought they were a US company, did everyone else who ordered from them have it come in from Hong Kong? if so how long did it take to come in? I'm very anxious lol

I live in Minnesota so here's my typical tracking. This is was received today about 20 mins ago :)

Acceptance July 26, 2013, 1:35 pm HONG KONG
Processed Through Sort Facility July 27, 2013, 1:22 pm HONG KONG AIR MAIL CENTRE, HONG KONG
Processed through USPS Sort Facility July 29, 2013, 8:48 am SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94128
Depart USPS Sort Facility July 29, 2013 SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94128
Arrival at Unit July 31, 2013, 8:02 am SAINT PAUL, MN 55104 International Letter

When it says "Arival at Unit" (for me) this means arrival at the local post office NOT delivered. I figured this out awhile back when I panicked thinking someone ran off with my stuff. Also, it won't give an "Expected Delivery Date" at least for me it never has.

Patience is a virtue my friend :)

Are you in the cities or elsewhere?

:) Just got the Vamo V3. Love this thing! The machined swirls aren't even bothersome at ALL; hardly noticeable.

OMG! you would think the world was coming to an end when the V.3 came out and everyone was .....ing about how ugly it was.

I haven't ordered from Fastech yet, but normally things take a month from china to hear. Anything quicker is gravy.

BTW, I am in a SW Burb myself.

I'm in Troy, NY too. I got mine in about 8 days after it was accepted in Hong Kong. It stayed in Hong Kong for a few days. Once it left there, it was in SF, CA the next day and got to me maybe 3 days later.

USPS's tracking sucks. Actually, I don't think they're obligated to provide tracking info for First Class (or whatever FastTech's free level is), just delivery confirmation. The day I got my package, it still said it was in San Francisco. About 3 hours later, it said it went through Albany, Troy and was delivered.

The waiting sucks, but it's worth it. You'll probably get the package Monday or Tuesday.

I know the feeling. I saw one guy getting into his car at Crossgates. He pulled what looked like a Churchill cigar out of his pocket; when he got into his car I saw the chrome tip indicative of an ecig on the bottom. Only other vaper I've seen.

There's Amerivapes smoke shop in Cohoes and 2 other places. They sell Vermont Vapor ejuice, but that's about it. I went in to check them out, and it's not my type of place. Gave up smoking the funny stuff about 20 years ago.

If you see a guy driving around with a Vamo, it's me. If I see someone with a Vamo, I'll know it's you lol.

Yeah I heard a commercial for that place on the radio and was gonna go over there soon. Good to know not to waste my time lol. Only person I've seen vape around here is a guy I used to work with at Time Warner.

I had my Halo Triton setup (basically an eGo battery and T2 tank) at a party at my brother-in-law's house a month of so ago. Not a single person had any clue what I was "smoking," except my brother-in-law. He was in Knoxville TN a few weeks beforehand with work and saw half the people he worked with vaping, so he knew. He said that's the only other place he's seen them.

I think it's a regional thing. People here know Blu and the other stuff you see in commercials, but nothing else. From looking at people's locations here, I'm under the impression that gaping's huge in the south, Midwest and southwest. I guess somehow the Northeast is lagging behind the trend. Ususlly never works like that.

My Vamo shipped on the 27th and left for Hong Kong on the 30th. No updates since it went through the sort facility but HK post said it did leave on the 30th. Very impatient and not getting an update just gets me worried. I live in new jersey and I expected it to be here by now. Hope I get some sort of update today/tommorow, getting worried.

If you took the standard shipping FastTech offers (I think everyone does), it doesn't guarantee tracking, only delivery confirmation. All I got was left Hong Kong, arrived in San Fran. Then nothing for 2 days. I opened the package and vaped on my Vamo about 8 hours before the tracking was updated.

I wouldn't sweat it. Happens all the time with USPS First Class or whatever the cheapest one is.

How long did it take to reach San Fran when it left HK?
