On this, the 25th day since I placed my Fastech order, my Kayfun 3.1 is finally on the mail truck in my town!!!

Please let us know when you finally have it and are puffing on it. Do make comments on the proverbial taste heights. Are they true or just hype?

OTOH, I'm cracking my fingers waiting for mine to leave Guangzou —paid for one week ago, fortunately marked as "ready to dispatch" by the CN post. I'll get a stroke or miocardial infarction if it's not here by the end of April.

25 days. It was still listed as in New York Yesterday, I checked it this morning and it was in my town and on the mail truck to my house.

OMG.

I can not believe I paid 20 for this! The machining is PERFECT. I do not have an ultrasonic cleaner and it is coated in machine oil. Oh well. I do need to clean it and my local shop is willing to sit me down and teach me the right way to build coils. I CAN NOT WAIT!

I will keep you all updated!

My little one was trying to eat my Kayfun, so this one is blurry...

OMG this thing is so crazy, the draw and the taste... Ironically, it did not ship with the allen wrench for the air control. ALSO, it is a B word to keep from leaking. I understand why people ditch them so quick because I have yet to isolate why it leaks as it does so even after having replaced the o rings, and every which way I fill it. But it is so worth it because of the taste and the draw!

***EDIT*** It is leaking alot less. Any advice on this thing would be greatly appreciated!

:thumb: Terrific! Was it not supposed to come with a preinstalled coil & wick?

Apostlyte, which vendor did yours come from? I ordered from these guys; and it seems it doesn't include anything but the basic tank.

In your photos I see the tool for the air adjustment, didn't it fit the screw? Also, is the needle nose bottle a standard one or is it of a larger diameter? In the P. Busardo review of The Russian it seems that using a different bottle can be disastrous and the top fill method a true hassle.

I have had no luck with the bottom feed as this clone has it on the side instead of the bottom where the 510 connection is. It also leaks like no ones business and I have yet to solve that issue. Also of note, this little kit did not come with the allen wrench for the air adjustment and said adjustment screw is where my juice leaks from. If I were to guess what gauge the fill tool was I would say it is 20 gauge.

Couple things you might try. I've had trouble getting Kayfun clones right. Make sure the wick sits just above the juice feed channel, not in it. Assemble the thing with wicks wet, but tank empty. Cover all inlet air holes and try to take a drag. Should be complete resistance, if not you have an air leak. Which will clearly result in juice leakage when full. And very important, do not over saturate the wicks during initial assembly. I was guilty of this for some time. Lastly, adjust the draw as very airy to begin. If you get a dry hit, you can adjust it for more juice flow. Hope this helps.
