Fasttech evod heads...mistake!

Decided to try getting some replacement heads for my evods thru fasttech - first one in is gurgling and leaking like crazy.

I'm guessing that replacing the flavor wicks with cotton might help, am I on the right track?

I replace the flavor wicks on ALL of my EVOD heads with boiled 100% cotton yarn. Regardless of if they are Kanger or not. This has fixed all leaking issues for me and the wife. I then occasionally (every 7-10 days) use a cleaning process that includes dry burning and replacing the cotton. My last EVOD head lasted just over 3 months.
