From what I have read that combo should work fine together. I actually have both on order from fasttech, they shipped yesterday. From my understanding those battery's work as agood in mods as AW imr's untill you get to the sub ohm range where the AW brand preforms a little better.

The voltage output is gona follow the voltage on the battery. A fresh charged battery is 4.2v and drops to 3.7 fairly quickly where is starts to slowly drop with use. With a mech you need to watch the voltage and change out the battery at about the 3.2v range and never drain it below 2.5v.

Here is a chart for the discharge of that battery. http:/..................../wordpress/panasonic-cgr-18650-3-7v-2250mah/ Notice how the voltage drops over the life of the battery. This is gona be similar to the voltage output of your KTS over the charge of the battery.

This is gona be my first mod so I am going off of my research. Hopefully someone with a little more experience will chime in. I plan to build 1.3-1.5 ohm coils to use with mine.

^^^^ He's absolutely right about the battery voltage. It starts at 4.2 or 4.1 depending on where your charger cuts off.

It's time to switch out the battery when the taste changes to the point of being unacceptable.

The CGR's work just exactly as they're supposed to. I have several and they've never let me down at all. With the KTS, I've been using the "flat top" but it wouldn't matter in the least if you opted for the rarer "button top" because there is room to spare.

It's a great paring that you won't regret although it might be a good idea to view a thread dedicated to it for any little quirks.

The thread covers some possible issues like hot buttons and voltage drops...
