I placed an order on 12/31 that is pending a single item. All the other items have been "ready to ship" since order was placed. The scheduled ship date for the ohmmeter is today (almost yesterday local time at their warehouse.) While I really want the meter, I really want my uwell Crown and Bellus, spare glass for both, and rba heads for my Crowns more.

I know I need to have patience when odering international, but I'm fearful of the deeming/ban-hammer that could drop before my shipment hits and clears US customs. Would it be wiser to cancel the ohmmeter and let the rest get on its way, or should I just breathe and be patient?

Thanks!

I have had orders come in 12 days and I have waited for a month on some even though they said ships next day. I only order things that can wait from there. I have found that there are many places here in the states that are very close if not cheaper on stuff and get it within 5 days. If you have somthing in mind you want check out Vape Crawler.com and it will list all the places, thier price, and sometimes give a discount code. I am not sure what fasttech is charging for a Crown tank but you can get all three colors at ecig.com for $21.99 and Coils for 7.99 And use a code VAPINGCHEAP to knock 5% of the total. Free shipping starts at $75.

I'm not sure that you can cancel just one part of an order. May have to cancel the whole thing and start over.

You might be able to get a more informed answer from the folks in this thread? I think that is where I read something about partial cancellations.

Fasttech Veterans

You can Cancel part(s) of a FT Order. Just make sure that if/when you do, you do a Refund and Not a Store Credit.

Because if you go with a Store Credit, whatever you buy Later with that Store Credit can only be return for a Store Credit. And can Not be returned for a CC Refund.

I don't think you have anything to worry about Deeming-wise. I would let it Ride.

With the continued delay I sincerely hope that the OMB is going to send a big ol' Gibbs-slap to the back of the head of the FDA along with the 'try again' message. But if that doesn't happen I forsee immediate restrictions on niquid online sales and potential restrictions on open tanks. I have zero interest in returning to scorched cartomizer-type closed systems, which wouldn't work for my DIY anyway.

I think you are Very Wise to stock up on Hardware now. But Nicotine Base would be my 1st Priority is Funds were Limited.

I have 1L of 48mg base ... my preferred due to concerns about handling more concentrated niquid ... and 1L of 100mg for if the worst happens. The tanks I ordered are backups for the ones I got last month from a US vendor. I also ordered a backup mod. I'd be more comfortable with more hardware backup than I have, but funds are limited so I have to do more with less, thus the FT order.

If OMB approves the worst possible FDA rules apparently they cannot take effect by law until 90 days after being published in the Federal Register. That would seem to apply to all new Federal rules, unless the President declares a vape emergency. Kids see cigalike packaging when they go to the party store to buy their sugar laden candy and caffine saturated drinks.

At my current usage, the nic I have will last 13.5 years. I'm pretty careful with my stuff <knock on wood> but still not sure my tanks and mods will last that long. I'd like to buy spare o-rings and such but haven't put enough effort into figuring out exact diameters and other specs to make the purchase. I do believe I'll have 90 days to do that if the deeming regs go against me.

The new mods are 100W iSticks ... I wasn't aware of the connector issues when I made the purchases, so hopefully I'll have little to no trouble with them. My tanks are top-fill, so I don't remove them to fill. Hopefully that'll help preserve the stability of the connector, and maybe I'll be able to get other 18650 external battery mods while the window remains open.

The no-online sale regulation is already on the books, though.

Face-2-Face Sales Only is going to be a Huge Problem. And I am sure that it will be Implemented Immediately for e-Liquids that contain Nicotine.

There is also the Issue of the B&M's having to comply with all of the City, County, State Requirements to sell Any Tobacco Product at their Location. And these Requirements will occur Automatically when an e-Liquid that contains Nicotine is Deemed a "Tobacco Product".

If a person is Not on a Fixed timeframe when they Have to Have something, and if a person leans towards only buying things that have Positive User Reviews, I think FT is a good place to buy from.

Yes... you are going to get some things Late occasionally. And Yes... you will get a Crumby Quality item once and awhile. But Over-All, I have been Very Happy with what I have gotten from them.

If I need something fast I pay more and buy Stateside. That's rare. Otherwise I usually go with FT. I use rda's exclusively. FT sell those for $10 and less. I got a size run of o-rings from them. My prefered drip tip costs $1 each from them. I got some good flush wire cutters for rebuilding for $2.50. I use their coiling tool. No supplier I know about comes close to FT for the low cost bits and peices. Their wire in long rolls is cheap. I hate buying mods I don't need because I use temp control and that technology is progressing rapidly but I'm also concerned about government interference so I'm stockpiling. My approach to that, prior to the FDA proouncements, is to collect the bare minimum to keep me vaping for 10 years (about $500 if I was starting with nothing). Fasttech and Myfreedomsmokes can supply pretty much everything I want for a 10 year stockpile. If things get ugly on the government side and there is a grace period I may increase my hoard but it's hard to believe the public health nazis will get away with harsh controls on vaping without being equally harsh with tobacco. Protecting tobacco taxes is the root cause of the vape war IMO.
