Very true. For me, I've found that with in stock or "ship next day", they usually get items out the door pretty quick.

Sometimes I will order the items I want then cancel all the ones that have an estimated ship date and put them in their own order. That way I get the in stock stuff first.

fasttech isn't bad on delivery IMHO..... If I order something from the US, it is 2-3 weeks away, it will only track until it leave US, and I am paying $10-$20 for USPS International Service (the basic one)...... They have option for trackable package but the delivery cost is just too much...

Also, I would generally avoid liquid, batteries in my international shipment.... Local police here is also trying to catch shops that sell ejuice.... so, I don't want to have a ejuice shipment and the police knocking on my door.

I think that things somehow get "stuck" somewhere in the delivery process because a while back I had three separate orders that took well over a month to get here.
I had almost given up on them.
As I said it seemed like they all got "stuck" somewhere because even though they were all ordered on different days in separate orders all three magically arrived in my mailbox on the same day

Want to hear about shipping from china?
Well listen to this. I recently placed an order with FT. According to the tracking from USPS it arrived in Flushing NY. after 2 weeks. From there it went to Memphis Tn. From there after sitting for 2 days it went north again to Landover Md. Again it sat for 2 days finally moving to Sandston Va. From there it was finally sent to my local PO for delivery. 2 weeks from china plus another week bouncing around the east coast. By the way it normally comes straight from NY to Sandston.

New info. I have a pkg. coming by malaysian post. It arrived in LA early morning on the 26th. It cleared 3 hours later. I just received a text update. It has arrived at sort facility 3:06pm (wait for it......) in Puerto Rico. Much further away from LA than Richmond Va.
Now who really thinks that it's the Chinese who cause shipments to take so long.
Our own system messes up at least as much as theirs. LOL

Now it has gone from Catano PR to San Juan and is on it's way to?????

In my first order to FT:
Order placed 25/11
Shipped 26/11
Arrived Singapore 28/11
Despatched from Singapore 2/11
Arrival at front door 3/11
Was very lucky with 8 days total

My 2nd until 4th is now 2 weeks already. I don't see anything wrong with FT cause I saw that it is shipped and the envelope photos at their website was appear as well. Singapore post noted that it is received on 6th and says dispatched on 8th..... but nothing so far.

they sent me a usps tracking first. got this from fasttech in an email a day after with a new tracking #.

"You might wonder what went wrong with the old tracking number. Please be assured that your previous tracking number is accurate. The package did not pass the carrier's security scan and FastTech is now re-shipping your package at no cost to you."

how did the package not pass security scan, its only 10 drip tips.

So, if a package shows as shipped on 1/27, but USPS and universal postal union both show as not found, I don't need to worry?

no worrries if just shipped 5-7 days ago and still not showing on the trackers..its common..

Two things; First, as Szot said, that's common. Second, not to cast an unflattering light on overseas tracking, I had one package show absolutely nothing on overseas tracking, and then it suddenly showed up in the USPS system. It was still showing as "ACCEPTANCE" on 17track when it was in my mailbox.

I have no idea when it fully updated, but the tracking history on that package is now correct.

The average of eleven days would put it in my mailbox on Saturday. So it is usually a scanning problem, rather than a cart shoved to the back of their awaiting shipment area in their facility.

This is the first time in seventeen orders this has happened. The only other problem arrived four months later (battery item) after putting in a ticket.

Tracking is often not posted in BOTH Chinese shippers and USPS shipping...so never worry about it..I too have had many packages appear at my door in the US, while the trackers still show its in China someplace.. and that happens with ALL Chinese shippers , not just 1 in particular..but Singapore Post is notoriously slow to non existent for tracking..but they always deliver, like the rest of them.

and 4 months laters , had to be HK Post Surface shipping (cargo ship) which most don't use..for the USA ,now U can USA Express airmail ship for $5 , when U order external batteries..

I've discovered a problem with Fasttech - they can't count and they don't follow up.

Twice I've ordered 2 of the same item. They send me one, then say they are out of stock and will follow up with the additional item. Then I never hear from them again and the invoice that arrives has one item on it. I suspect someone in shipping is running a scam.

I'm through ordering from them.

Something about coming from China makes screw-ups happen in the US. My fasttech order was pretty good, but the cig-a-buy one went back and forth across the country and finally out on the delivery route in the wrong city before making it here.

USPS tracking is wonky enough. I think most cargo is FedEx planes. No tracking info is provided during that part of the trip.
