I just bought my first e-cig from David at Eastmall, and I've been very excited to use it. I know there are many people on here that think charging it for 8-12 hours for the initial charge is necessary, but according to "THE TRUTH about batteries" thread in the beginners forum, that seems to be untrue.
I am planning on charging for 3 hours for my initial charge. After 20 minutes of being plugged in, the light already shows green. I let it sit for about an hour and a half, and tried to take a puff.
The light cuts out after about a half a second, making it impossible to get a decent hit at all. It will stay lit if I do constant primer puffs, but that is not how I want to use these at all.
There is another thread (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cig-technical-issues/8327-dse-801-112-battery-issue.html) concerning this matter, and the user got used to it. I however am a new user and am not very happy with this at all.
Is there a mod I could do that would fix this, or am I just being too impatient?
