Faulty charger?

Hi sorry if this is covered in another thread.

I'm looking for info on how to determine whether or not I have faulty chargers. I have 4 batteries, each having distinct issues with the two chargers I'm using.

I have 2 1300mah vision spinners, a 1600mah spinner II, and a 2000mah smok aro winder.

TTo charge these I have what I believe are 2 identical vision branded 510 (ego?) chargers rated at 420mah out.

I don't seem to have any issues with my 2 spinners, but sometimes when I'm charging my winder or my spinner II, the light goes green normally when I plug in the adapter. However when I thread on my battery the charger goes solid red and doesn't blink green like I believe it's supposed to.

My battery light blinks rapidly and goes solid, which I believe is proper, but I have nothing to indicate that it is in fact charging my battery. No intermittent green blinking. I'm scared.

I've been using the supplied wall charger. Should I try it off a USB port? What is the risk of a faulty charger damages my batteries? I can't afford to replace all these and I'm so happy with my purchases.

Well that was dramatic! I have one of these chargers and it's supposed to stay solid red when it's charging. It's not a very sophisticated charger so you won't get that many bells and whistles. Try leaving the battery threaded onto the charger, then switching around what the usb is connected to( like a computer, laptop, wall jack, etc) to see if the behavior changes. If all else fails, leave the battery charging overnight. If it's green in the morning, it works. If not, you'll have enough motivation to get a new one. Simple as that. Those standard chargers go for around ten bucks nowadays. Keep in mind that it'll take a few hours to completely charge the battery since it's juicing at 420mah. That means you'll get 420mah in one hour. So for a 2000mah device, it'll take about 5 hours to fill. Hope this helped.

First off - Do NOT leave stick batteries on a charger unattended or over night.
These are the type that go boom when least expected and almost always while charging.

Now - Plug in any decent charger and it will likely light up Green
Attach a depleted battery and it will go Red - Battery indicator, not power indicator.
Once charged the LED will go Green indicating full charge.

Some Batteries will light up(button) while charging
Some will blink and light up
Some will blink and stop

Pay attention to the charger more so than the battery lights

It's just I've charged each of these batteries a few times each already and I just got nervous because the behaviour changed. The charger used to periodically flicker green at an increasing frequency to show much much charging remained.

As long as it doesn't sound like I'm going to ruin my batteries based on the info received here, I'm going to stop worrying.
