An Old World Pizza, deep dish with sausage and pepperoni goes with any vape. It's pizza so good, it'll make you feel like you cheated on your spouse.
I had an idea to make a cookbook that paired food, drink, and vaping flavors... started a thread on it, but it didn't really seem to take off, so I sort of tabled it. I'm still game to give it a try though - I love to cook and experiment with specialty or gourmet cocktails.
The most recent combination that really did it for me was Häagen-Dazs sea salt caramel gelato and banana e-liquid. Amazing.

I probably didn't help with that thread you started in the lounge, sorry. I seem to remember I got a bee in my bonnet (love that phrase) about avocados from Mexico.
I think I might need to learn to choose my battles.
For me, the best thing that goes with a vape is a glass of Merlot or Shiraz. I like beer too - something crisp like an IPA.
For some reason, Bobas seems to pair really nicely with a can of lukewarm High Life.

You know, I was wondering how this was going to play out when I quit smoking. We all know that "coffee and cigarettes" connection. And then there was that whole "gotta have a cigarette after dinner" thing. Or after lunch. Or after a cookie...
Those associations just never happened with vaping. Coffee and vaping... just not the same thing for me. One funny(?) thing was once I got my taste buds back coffee didn't taste better. I kind of lost interest in coffee after I quit smoking. And I don't feel that mad compulsion to finish a meal with vaping the way I had to with a cigarette.
That all having been said, about the only food/vape connection I really like is a good Cinnamon Danish Swirl vape with coffee. But it's still only a once in a blue moon thing for me.

I know it smells bad but I actually like it. And yes, I'd vape durian if it were available. The thing is I haven't come across durian e-liquid or flavor concentrate yet. We have many durian-flavored stuff here available (I was eating durian jelly just yesterday, it's really nice) so maybe someone can think of sourcing such flavoring for it to be used in e-liquid. The artificially-flavored durian food products here don't have the bad smell, they just have that distinct "thick" and creamy durian goodness.
I tried it twice. Just to see if it was as bad as the first time. It was. Rotten egg custard with a hint of musk and extra sulphur.
I'm eating shrimp etouffee, and I don't know what to vape with it. I guess the crab juice would work. But then I would probably be eating backwards after trying the crab juice. Good thing I don't have any crab juice.
I've come across various crab juice references here on ECF. What exactly is that? Is there really such a thing or it's just a word for bad juice?
