Hey everybody, I figured here would be a good place to share your favorite 26650 dripper's/mods, are they good performers or just for looks? Whatever the reason may be.

Before I found this bad boy, I was in love with the Mutant, which I sold for a pretty penny for something of copper. Well this copper 26650 4nine clone was only 40 bucks! So I have some profit to spend on other stuff, and an amazing performing, as well as good looking mod!

It's a hybrid top cap (direct connection with the battery), full single piece copper construction, with the only other part being the magnetic button as the adjustment and firing mechanism, it's as simple as it gets and has a .06 volt drop! (On a .5ohm dual coil) Not freakin' bad for a 40 dollar clone, and the button is as smooth as I could ask for (it was a little grippy the first hour I used it, but that quickly wore down to perfection.).

Ummm...I didn't want a 26 mod... until I saw the mutant, and then heard about the 4nine 26650.. The 4nine is my favorite mech of all time.. I'd need an atty that is completely flush with it..

Where'd you get it? Any issues?

Edit- this won't be as bad, since your switch and tube are copper, but put an anti-oxidation grease on it anyway. The battery and switch contact resistance is where this mod gets is voltage loss..with the solid tube. I want an 18650 solid tube 4nine...

I got it from wholesale vapor, I think they're the only vendor right now. This thing has been freakin' amazing! It hits noticeably harder than the mutant, and has a better button also, I'm a stickler for buttons, and this one passes the test. Short throw, smooth press magnets, but firm as well, and .06 volt drop on .4 ohm build! Looks awesome too.

What are the dimensions of that 28850 4Nine? Height and Diameter. And where did you get that drip tip?

ty

Thanks MrPlink :D, yeah I made that drip tip recently sorry, I drilled it out .5 inches wide and had my gf blow a pyrex DT for me. It's 3 & 1/4"'s tall, I can tell you it's fairly compact, I actually like it. It's 30mm wide, so some of the new 26650 rda's that are coming out (28.5mm) won't sit super flush, but they still look awesome. There are a few out, like the Asmodus (that's on the way to my mailbox! I've been drooling over it for a while now), that will sit flush because it's 30mm as well. I have huge hands, and it fits perfectly in my fist when I grab it, it's a nice size.

Yeah your right. 30mm Diameter. I think cuz of the bigger battery the top and bottom caps may have to be a few mm thicker.

Okay, found some info specs...

Specs:
-Pinless hybrid top cap
-30mm wide and 81mm tall
-26650 battery
-Available in stainless steel or tiger brass

I haven't seen a brass one yet, just copper and stainless. I'm not particularly interestedin brass myself, but I don't doubt it'll be coming soon. The hybrid top cap is awesome, the magnet adjusts everything for you. You just screw on your atty, and start vaping without battery rattle. Plus there's a noticeable awesome .06 voltage drop (on .4ohm build), it's an ANGRY little copper mod.

Hmmm..I guess 2mm isn't huge..but with the 4nine it is. How's the throw?

That says tiger brass. Your picture looks like it's copper. What's tiger brass? I think my switch on my male is copper clad brass..so maybe that's it?

The throw has been really short, if you can see the finger cutouts, I only have to press it about halfway up through that curve. So I'd say 2mm throw, however that IS with my Tobh's slightly protruding 510 pin (if your favorite atty has a 510 pin that's recessed it won't work, I haven't seen a recessed 510 myself, but the longer protrusion the better/shorter the throw with this mod. I will mention though that the magnet is awesomely strong, it gave my pinky quite a workout the first week, and since then I've been using the "Cali Claw" method of pushing it with my middle finger, much more control and smoother that way. The button hasn't cought or anything on me though, it's just like pushing on a magnet :D.

Here's a good pic for the 30mm overhang if that bugs you.

The performance and quality is so worth it though, looks purdy too. :2cool:

I got the same set up minus that drip tip and can't say enough good about it. .4 26 gauge build is giving a slightly warm vape with flavor forever. Great density of vape on the exhale. Plenty of tokes off a juice fill. No heat on the chain vape with this build. The pros go on and on. The only downside I can see, is this unit being a juice hog, but what dripper isn't. Especially in 26650. Thankfully I brew my own.

Nice Bro, I have the Stainless one in the mail now...sadly it will be a week or so before I get to play with it.

Hey, any way I can get my hands on one of those very cool drip tips? What is that on top of you Tobh likes about about 20mm wide?

Unfortunately man I made than one myself :/, I bored out the original drip tip hole to 1/2 an inch, and then got my girlfriend to glass blow me a pyrex drip tip "the size of a dime" :p. I'm sure you can go to a head shop that sells *cough* glass stuff, and do the same thing I did :D. It's actually glued to the top cap with some strong silicone based super glue basically, then I let it dry in front of a fan for 24 hours, and boom, permanently attached mega tip. I'd really suggest trying it if you have a large drill bit, it's wasn't like mind-blowingly better, but the vapor amount improved, and the flavor is more direct. It kinda pours vapor all over the inside of your mouth instead of a small stream of it, I dig it :), I think I'll be doing this to all my atty's. I also made a copper one out of an old nemesis extension hehe.

Your addicted too huh? :p I didn't expect the bigger atty's to be better, but like you said the whole experience is just...bigger lol. On a day off, I can accidently go through 10ml of my favorite juice!

Get here

The 26650

I've had my eye on that guy :), I can tell it's a performer for sure like the BFM. How does that c-clip work out? Do you ever feel it while firing? I kinda wish these copper makers would throw a little pizazz into the design though. The only difference between this and the BFM is that this ones polished, I've been thinking about going to Lowes and getting the right size copper tube, and seeing what I can do about the top and bottom lol.

My favorite copper 26650 mod of all time is my BFM from Bay City Vapor..personally I don't like clones to begin with, and I especially don't like clones, or any mod for that matter, with locking ring swich. My BFM has a medium soft magnetic switch with a recessed button making it impossible to fire accidentally standing up. The pin less top cap connects Atty directly to the top of the batt making for 0 voltage drop..It hits harder than any stainless 26650 I've tried with the same builds, and the polished copper compact tube with the polished brass end caps makes for a beautiful, high performance, mech mod that is my absolute favorite! my hat's off to Bay City Vapor!

Here is a pic of my beloved BFM...Zero Voltage drop makes this a hard hitting mod..magnetic switch with recessed button has a smooth medium-soft throw.. 26650 batt means I don't have to carry a million batteries around with me either...its why its favorite go-to mod to date.. [emoji12]

I agree Smacks :D, the BFM is an amazing mod, scientifically made for good conductivity, a button that works great, and a super simple design. I just recently pulled the trigger on getting the dual 26650 tube, and it's a whole new animal! I'd REALLY recommend it, because like you know, it's kinda hard to go back to another 26650 mod after using the BFM, and it's the same way when you use it with 2 of the big batts!

The dual serial tube is what I use at home usually, but another mod I've been loving lately for it's virtually no voltage drop is the 26650 4nine copper (clone), I'm usually not a hardcore clone guy, but this one comes with an even simpler hybrid/magnetic design, it's ALL COPPER, and even looks cooler (not that that matters :p). Definitely an awesome alternative to the single tube BFM.
