Thanks for the links!

Ahhh...Torchy! He does some great testing. We've collaborated on a couple of them.
I've done a bit of testing here....see my signature for the links to my blog. Hopefully I'll be able to continue testing and get to the rest of the rewrapped batteries....and 26650's, 18500's, and 18350's.

I have issues with the PVA videos. There are factual errors in the ones I've seen and his tests don't track temperature or how the battery's overall life is affected by being discharged at their rated current level. These omissions are critical for not only establishing safety limits for discharging a battery but also for setting performance limits (making sure the batteries last a long time). These are the basis for the testing I've done here.

Someone has contacted me and is donating three different AW batteries (3000mAh, 2200mAh, and 1600mAh) for testing so I'll be able to do some direct comparisons against other batteries soon. :)

Thanks for your links as well, I do have a problem with a lot of these battery tests not checking temperature. That's one thing I constantly check on the Reos and any mech mods.

I got the new AW IMRs for $12.99 from RTD. I called to complain how terrible they performed and they gave me store cred for my next purchase. For now I am sticking with blue, yellow and green batts.
That's one of the main reasons I buy from Randy sir. Great customer service along with all the other benefits. Enjoy the day!:2cool:

    The 3000mAh one?
Did it not last as long as you thought it would or was the voltage sag too much?

The 2200s, button tops....$11.99, just don't last. Dont hold a charge for nearly as long as my yellow blues and green batts.
Yes, insta voltage drop on .4 builds and lower. I am going to stick them permanently in my SIG 150 and see what happens..
