Just put together a Tobh (with chuff top cap) and a Dark Horse with .09 builds. They are both dual 24 gauge parallel
coils. The Tobh is 4/3 wrap around the end of a multimeter probe (probably about 3/32) and the Dark Horse is 5/4 wrap. I was able to get the
coils closer in the to the posts in the Dark Horse + I think it has better conductivity, which is why they came out to the same resistance.... but they both chuck the clouds instantly and are a dense warm vape. It would be too hot if I didn't have the wide-bore top caps. The are wicked with open space below the coils to further help with airflow cooling.
ETA: The Tobh is not centered, since I don't want to remove the tabs on an authentic RDA. The Dark Horse coils are mostly centered, as in they are pushed toward the center post, but not so much that the positive coil legs bend at an angle.
Sometimes I do center post builds, but I usually find that I can make just as much vapor without completely centering. Also, the resistance is lower since I don't have to do any bending with my coil legs.
