Uhm, wow. Keyz and Peeps, if it weren't for you quoting, I would have totally missed this (I <3 the "ignore" feature).

While I agree to SOME extent with SD (i.e. lets not get too upset with V4L; it is their biz to run as they wish, and humans DO make mistakes), I do have to chime in here and say that the delivery is completely what we expect from mr TeamKR808.

Im trying, but its hard to watch and keep quiet. I have a hard time excepting the treatment that people are getting here. Its wrong.

Anyone agree? Maybe Im alone.

You're hardly alone, Keyzy. Most of the people that would agree with you have been run off a long time ago! Apparently, bullying is not just for the schoolyard. :(

That's good advice from ol' Ben. I get attached too readily, and tend to assume the best of everyone -- then things start going horribly south. :( I never learn. :(

Oh geez, sorry for the highjack :offtopic: -- this Sticky really IS an excellent idea!

Jamvector it's nice to see you place yourself in such high importance but frankly I could care less about you. If you want to personalize this that's fine, I'll call Kleenex and tell them to double production so there is enough tissues for all your issues. The isolated incidents which occurred over the last couple of days are not standard operating procedure for V4L by any means, a fact we all know. The entire purpose of having a sale is to increase orders and drive revenue making these exceptional events even more evident. Despite whatever issues you seem to have with me at least we both agree that the Coupon Codes for 2010 is a dead sticky and should be nuked. I have not posted on this matter, but simply replied so there is no Sticky that would be mine. This is not a mine/yours issues so I find the "feel free to have your friends delete mine and post yours." to be quite interesting.

The only person I have any empathy towards in this matter is Katz, she pays a premium for shipping and waits weeks for her orders to arrive. It was no secret that the extraordinary frequency of sales was going to end for awhile and folks had the chance to stock up during the last Wheel sales. As for using the term "loyal customers" and folks getting offended, well that is even more evidence that something simply fell through the cracks. After reading the posts on this it was apparent that something procedural was amiss, no more no less. Jumping to the conclusion that this was some intentional dig in an effort to divide and alienate a portion of the long-standing customer base seems at best to defy logic and reason.

By all means I leave you with the last word so try and be creative and not overly wordy as usual, I'm done with this post.

Wow .... rude . Cool thread though .

@Snowdragon: Dude, when are you going to stop being such a ......... to other forum members anyway? It's freaking hilarious that you intone that someone else is "placing themselves in such high importance" and "taking things personally."
Over the years, I have seen so many threads where you interject yourself with your holier-than-thou attitude it's ridiculous.
You really seem to need to set yourself up as the be-all and end-all when it comes to advice on this forum. Guess what? You're not!!! Other people have had experiences and things to offer and if they happen to not agree with yours, your response is almost invariably to either be totally dismissive or downright insulting to whomever that happened to be.

You made a bunch of instructional vids in the earlier days of this forum, good for you. You provided a valuable service for the time and should be commended. But since then, you've done more to denigrate and alienate more forum members than anyone I'm aware of here. You've devolved from a helpful contributor in the early days to a cranky old dog who seems to only want to mark his territory by pissing all over any stray dog who crosses your path.

Someone came up with a thread that answered a perceived need based on the information that was available at the time. A rep of the company thought that it warranted enough importance to be stickied. So you hop in out of the blue with the "Ooh, Snowdragon's got a better idea!" post. And when you're responded to, you go into your little rant about importance and Kleenex? Nothing you said in the remainder of that post was anything that hadn't already been pointed out and resolved. It was simply a lame-... attempt to justify your rude and unwarranted comeback to Jamvector.

Why don't you just cut to the chase and come out and admit that you're a combative little person with such a fragile little ego that you have to attack people to try to still feel like you're important? You'd be much better served offering advice when it's requested and discussing views that differ from your own rather than taking them as a personal attack.

And if you feel that Jamvector took your response "personally" or whatever? Congratulations Snowdragon, you reap what you sow. Keep acting like an attack dog to people, and their first response will be to react to you like they're being attacked. Good job, there.

I could go back through your posts and point out a ton of the fallacies and misconceptions you perpetuated in trying to eloquently prove your point of view was right or whatever since you obviously feel the need to debate or argue every little point that doesn't agree with yours, but you know what? You're just not that important. Have a nice day.
