I have 2 vision and 2 off brand clone clearomizers rebuildables and 3 non-rebuildable throw-aways.

I have had some problems with some leaking afte 3 weeks, the wicks would fall apart, coil still good tho.

I did alot of research and found ( as MANY others have ) cotton wicks ROCK!!!!!

I took it all apart, left coil head on the shaft ( easy to hold then ) washed it off and was able to pull out the silica wick parts ( what was left of them that is :p ) and that little sleave around the coil. I then washed it out with just tap water ( for any of those tiny fibers still hanging on ) and made sure coil was still in the center and NOT touching the sides. I then blew it out and did a 1-2 sec dry burn.

Now I took a cottonball like you buy at a wal-mart a buck or so for 200+, then pulled a long thin section off and rolled it back and forth in my fingers and made it around 3-4 inches long. I then was able to thread it into the coils while twisting and pull it threw it. I check to make sure no coil is touching sides then trim wick. I add a drop of juice to each side and center and let set for a min.

I screw the post onto a ego battery with out the tube or rubber top over the coil and do a few test burns, it should pop a little which means its perfect. I then put rubber top on coil and screw tube back onto the post, add juice to wick top and let set for a few min.

Cotton swells ALOT so smaller is better. I get the best flavor I ever had and clouds of vaper even with my ego batts....when useing my vamo I cloud a room all most . You will never be able to dry burn these wicks as cotton will burn. They last around a few weeks, when done just pull it out, wash, blow dry, and then dry burn with NO wick in it. As long as the coil holds out you will have a taste you never knew a top coil clearo could give.

I've been using clearos almost exclusively for the past 6-9 months now and I've had the best luck with the Vison rebuildables from Altsmoke. I also like the Kanger T2's and Vivi Novas, but more often than not I find myself using the Visions. I find it's best to keep a lot of replacement heads on hand. I change the head and clean the tube and mouthpiece whenever I want to change flavors. Also, fluffing the wicks seems to make a difference in the performance. That's my $.02.
