Just like topic says, feel like my vapor is horrible for double coils @ .58 28G. Please watch video, all comments & suggestions welcome. I know my coils aren't perfect but, definitely had worst when I 1st started to build lol. I swear my single coils give more vapor. It's fresh VTC5 battery, dunno if I'm going crazy, not use to my Reo, something is wrong I dunno. just not getting efficient amount.. Ty Reonauts :)

This may sound elementary but I do it so much that I just gotta throw this out there. Have you checked to make sure your 510 connector below your atty is not full of juice? If it is the connection becomes weak and the atties performance falls. I flood mine all the time, but just enough to make me wonder why my atty has stopped rockin'.

No, don't worry about elementary or constructive feedback with me!! I wanna love this Reo, I'm using my other mech more often so I can actually vape & it's frustrating. Lots Of money into Reo & atty & misc stuff

Ok, good lol! I didn't want to offend you with noobville stuff! I'm still in noobville. :D

I'll be watching this thread Myah, sometimes I have the same issue and sometimes not and I'm not sure why. I've got to be doing something different from one build to another but I have no idea what it is. Something else though, that just popped into mind, I have noticed that sometimes it takes my new build a little while to really kick in and produce better vapor. Almost like it's engine needs to warm up so to speak.

I might of figured it out. I usually build single parallel. I think one of my leads was barely touching the center post. I always wrapped the leads around the "outside" of negative posts. X told me there are little slits on the inside, under the 2 screws to wrap leads around. One of the leads either wasn't making good connection or touching center pin. Took apart & gonna rebuild. Do you Odin ppl know what I mean by the slits under the 2 screws w/ negative posts? It's actually not hard to build, I'm just used to negative & positive posts all having holes lol, not wrap around. Hope this makes sense..... Will let ya all know if it makes a difference :) TY

Do you have your button cover secured down with a piece of string? I noticed that before I secured the button cover, that the cover sat just low enough that when I pressed the button, the firing pin did not fully touch the top of the vtc5 battery.

Also, are you using noalax or deoxit on the battery top and firing pin? Vtc5 is bad about oxidation on the positive contact, and if just enough builds up you'll start getting weak performance like you describe too.

String securing my button cover, nope I just put it on... Didn't know I had to use string & how does that work? I've noticed it don't fire alot since I put the button on. What's the Noalox or deoxit lol? Jeeeeeeez, I'm missing alot yikes:( I got something with the Reo, little black container with black stuff, almost grease like... Am I supposed to use that for something? Lordy, sry all the questions!

The string is just slipped over the button before you put the button cover on, it's just there to keep the button cover tight. Sometimes, the button cover will slip down too far on the button, then when you press, it won't travel far enough down to make contact. If that's the case, just stick something in the hole in the button cover to keep it from going down so far, a small wad of paper, a piece of plastic tubing, most anything will work.

The black greasy stuff is noalox, it's used to minimize oxidation on the tip of your firing pin (doesn't hurt to put some under the spring too). If you have the new (gold) contacts (the spring will be gold instead of silver), deoxit works better.

Take a close look at the tip of the firing pin, if it's pitted or crudy looking, you should clean it and apply a tiny bit of noalox/deoxit.

Little black container is the noalox. Put a very small dab right on the bottom of the firing pin where it hits the positive end of the battery.

Lay the sting over you button and then pop the button cover on top.
Should I take the button off, & put back on using string? Does the string stay on under the button then? Except for a magneto somebody let me use I've always had regulated devices & never had to worry about any of this. How often you all clean the firing pin & how often do u use alcohol or Noalox? So just a little bit on positive part & leave it on? Is it mainly Sony's? I have vtc4 & 5's. Is there a better battery for the Reo using lower wattage?
