Hi guys,

I joined ECF a little while ago but this is my firstpost.

Ive been vaping for about 2 months now but was still smoking a few roll ups on the side. Ive now come off the roll ups completely about 42 hours ago and just vape.

Since ive come off the roll ups ive been feeling awful and wakeing up today was a real struggle and thats not like me at all. Ive been drinking plenty of water. Ive recently bought a new mod that takes cartos and changed liquids aswell. The liquids I use are 30mg and I think they have a 80/20 pg/vg mix. The liquids I was using before were 24mg but were a lot thicker but no throat hit liquid so I presume a higher vg content. With the 24mg I would fing myself chain vaping. With the new 30mg im not chain vaping and it seems to hit the spot.

My questions are, do ce4/5's deliver nicotine defferently to cartos? And is this normal to be feeling like this after fully coming off the sticks?

Thanks :)

Everyone is different when it comes to quitting cigs. I had a couple days of urges after I went cig-free, but vaped and vaped until the urge went away. My biggest problem was what to do with my hands! I wound up carrying my PV with me all day, no matter where I went or what I was doing. And had no qualms about vaping whenever I felt the need.

As far as your question regarding CEs vs. cartos, personally I think they do. Cartos, IMO, are more "direct." YMMV.

Just keep at it...experiment. You will find something that satisfies you. Meanwhile, welcome to ECF and vape on!

Congrats and welcome!!

Feeling like crap for probably at least a couple weeks after you quit analogs (off and on - depending on how long you smoked) is totally normal, and we all experienced at least some symptoms.

Google "symptoms after quitting smoking" or something of the like, and that will set your mind at ease because you'll see explanations of probably everything you're feeling. Unfortunately, a lot of people who use vaping to quit, mistakenly attribute the symptoms as being caused by vaping, but you would have them whether you vaped or not.

Your body is purging itself of a TON of toxins from smoking, and that takes time (Your body is withdrawing, and it tricks us into thinking "why did I feel bettwr when I smoked??" which a lot of time causes folks to go back)...but you're doing exactly the right thing!!! . You found a method of delivery and a juice that works for you to stop the cravings and you're hydrating. Keep up the awesome work!!! Every day you'll feel a little better, and it will reinforce the positive thing you're doing for your health. (Just wait til in a few days you start smelling and tasting things better :)

Good luck, and stay strong!! :) this forum is a wealth of support and encouragement.

Are you only using a CE style atomizer? Perhaps you need to try 30mg on an RBA. The intensity of the vape is much stronger.

At first I was using ce style atomizers and they didnt cut it for me. I then moved on to a vivi nova and that was an amazing vape compared to the ce style. Im now using cartomizers and I love them. Noob question whats an RBA?

30mg nic level is pretty dang high, you could be over nic'ing which would explain the tiredness. I tried 36mg once, way to much nic for me. I was then using 24mg nic for the longest time until I started using rba's. Now the better the atty the better the nic delivery is and the better the vape. I then had to drop down to 18mg, because it would take me almost an hour to come down off the nic after a vape break. As my builds got better so did the nic delivery, so now I am at 12mg nic and seems to be real good.

I vape at 80% VG now, but was all up and down the scale until I found what I liked best. When I tried 80% PG, I did not like it, to harsh for me, and not much vape production. Tried the 50/50, and it was ok. Now that I DIY juices, am mixing at 80% VG, find it a much smoother vape, and good clouds. Experiment with you ratio of VG/PG and nic levels until you find what works best for you. Some people do have a allergic or adverse reaction to high PG levels.

Think one of the hardest thing about Vape, is finding ones preferences, in both juices, devices and atomizers. Getting there can be both frustrating and fun. But it is a journey we all have to experience.

Your withdrawal symptoms are normal, shouldn't last too long....:)

Regarding cartos, clearos, attys, RBA, etc...everyone has their favorites, they all perform a bit different. Some have more flavor, or more vapor, or more heat, or more ohhh shiney... It's almost like finding your favorite flavor juice, try one of each, see what works best for you. When you find it buy a bunch of extras because A) they will be discontinued, or B) the manufacturer will change the design (for improvement??)
