I fell off the vaping wagon last night, quite hard. Been vaping for 3 months now, and recently switched liquids. I had been cutting my own the last two months, noticing no craving for a cigarettes whatsoever. I switched to a supplier bought liquid, Blueberry 18mg yesterday.

At work, it was just not doing it for me. I smoked this liquid earlier throughout the night before my overnight shift, at a large get together of friends with people smoking all around me. Not tempted once. Didn't even think about it until about halfway through my overnight shift. The liquid has minimal throat hit, but probably more important was the fact that it was only 18mg, slightly lower than my usual use.

Apprently, though I thought i was at 24 mg cutting my liquids, I may very well be cutting them higher than I thought, or else 18 to 24mg makes a huge difference.

Needless to say, I gave in out of fear that I was under-performing and on my way to messing up a number of individual's medications at work.

God it was good though, that cigarette. The first cigarette in months. The feel of it in my hands was what I missed. The instant gratification.

But the smell. Oh god how horrible. I immediately washed my hands, arms, wanted to scrub my mouth out. I could smell it all over me with my new-found nose. Total disgust, but it did the job.

Moral of the story, throat hit and mg count, even slight switches, are very very important. Be PREPARED. Bring a bottle of a reliable juice with you if you have recently switched liquids, just in case it doesn't end up working out for you. It could even feel like it works just fine, but at any point, as I learned tonight, if it's not fully tested for you, it could become useless in a heartbeat.

I learned my lesson today. Don't trust a liquid to work for you until you've absolutely put it to the test!

Or at the very least, always have some higher mg count, maybe something even out of your normal vaping range, for situations of high stress/temptation.

Good story/advise....One thing I do to lower my nic level is when I know I am going to vape a lot...i.e. at the computer,,,I will use a lower nic level then my normal stuff....But, yes, I always have my normal nic juice with me,,,no matter where I go....
Don't want to take any chances,,,especially when I am out on the town having a few cold ones....Enjoy the Adventure....

great advice there too. i need to start doing that more. preparing myself for long vape sessions to keep from requiring higher level nic juice all the time. i vaped zero nic juice for like 2 hours the one day at the computer at it was so pleasant. vapor is very refreshing without the peppery nicotine sensation.

i use 24 mg too. I find 18 has me running around an a frenzy. I also find having a massive choice of tastes keeps me occupied. One flavor just doesnt do it. I have 3ml 24mg menthol/tobacco, 3ml 24 mg vanilla, 3ml 24mg cinnacide, 3ml caramel/apple, in my pocket most of the time. That changes a lot.
Im trying to lowerr my voltage down some from 6 volts and I find it stressfull. I was using a wet atty system at 6 volts using LR 510 batteries and man that kicked some major vape. The batterries and PV were getting hot and the batteries just couldnt handle the drain.
So, do whatever but be prepared for a tabacco fix breakdown, stress on the little nasty is like dynamite.

I have juices in o-6-12-18mg and one tobacco flavor in 24.

I start the day using the 12 or 18 for the kick start. Then depending on mood use 0-12 through the day.
I make the effort to stay on 0-6 as the day wears on. If I am chain vaping I stay on the 0mg.
Been doing this for a few weeks, and it seems now that I am getting to where I can start the day with 12 now and work my way down, also cutting down use of the pv.

Occasionally I like the 24mg for a little kick to my vape. Msinly though I been experimenting with it, mixing it with other 0mg juices.

I found it helps me to have juices/flavors I really really like for the low mg, especially 0mg. That way I want to vape them more than the higher nic juices.

JMHO, I think alot of it has to do with it all being psychological. Last night I was so busy at work I only vaped maybe 10% what I normally do. But it didn't really bother me, and when I did vape during that time half of it was 12mg and the rest was 0mg.
Of course ymmv.

great story - same happened to me - ran out of my special brew that a member makes for me - fell off the wagon - so I ordered 60 mls -
And, yes, at night when Im on the computer I dilute it with VG so that I dont get all zoned and unable to sleep -
when you find the right one - stock up and get it in several strengths to fit the need.

Same thing happens to me. I can never make up my mind as to what flavor I want so I tend to carry up to 8 flavors with me at all times. I have found that the one I like on the way to work doesn't satisfy me at work and have to switch. Sometimes the flavor just goes away so I switch to a stronger flavor (wintergreen currently).

My boyfriend is also vaping now and he bought a pack of analogs ealier this week. He had one before bed and when he kissed me goodnight I had to wrinkle up my nose and say ewwww.... you had a smoke! After amost 30 years of analogs I never thought I would say that!
