few newbie questions (Dripping and Cutting)

So i have been vaping for a little over a week. Happy to say i have not had an analog in 4 days, (not counting the cigar i smoked with my buddie when his baby poped out!) Anyway

1. If you buy 36mg PG unflavored and mix it with 50/50 pure PG do you get exactly 18mg PG with the exact same chemical composition or is there other things added to the unflavored PG you can buy all over?

2. What exactly is "Drip smoking"? Does that mean you just put a couple drops on the atomizer and smoke till its gone? When you do this do you take the filter out of the cart? How exactly does one "drip smoke"

I use 36mg unflavored cut 50% with VG. I'm no chemist, but 36 cut in half = 18, is good enough for me. I'm not a fan of the fruity, sweet flavors, so I keep mine unflavored.

You're correct about dripping. A couple of drops directly on the atomizer with the inside cartridge fiber removed. I don't drip myself. If you decide to drip, just do it carefully. Too much juice can run into the battery and damage it.

Depends on your PV. Usually about 10-12 puffs

With 4 drops on my 801 atty I can get about fifteen 10 second pulls.............

Thanks -- I wanted to try dripping on my 510, but didn't want my atty to burn out and wasn't keen on the idea of drip-puff, drip-puff-drip. Seems like I'm having to top off the catridge after about the same amount of pulls anyway or I get a burnt fiber taste, which I'm not too crazy about. Is there a burnt atty taste? Is it worse?
