I in the last week purchased an itaste vv version 3.0. I have an T3S atomizer attached. My local shop owner recomended this to me for just starting out. She also said her liquids she makes wont crack the plastic as well, and said if it does she has no problem replacing it. She is a really cool person and I dont think she would steer me wrong. I will probably upgrade though at some point but I have been very happy thus far. Now for my questions.

1. Is it ok to leave my atomizer attached the whole time, or should I leave it off on occasion? (like should i worry about anything dripping or anything as I usualy just leave it on its side charging over night.)

2. I noticed the throat hit becoming less and less over the days. Im still getting amazing vapor from it, but she said I am just adjusting to it, is this true. (Im smoking at 18mg Nicotine)

3. I did some research with the adjustable voltage and wattage, and im running a 2.4 ohm coil, I have my itaste set to 4.0 volts, is that a good level to leave it at?

Any feedback is helpful, and thank you all in advance.

What the PG/VG ratio of the liquid you're using?

I have an iTaste vv 3.0 and to answer your questions:

1. I've never had this issue, and I leave attys on mine all the time.

2. Could be? Depends on lots of different factors including what you're vaping, the PG/VG ratio, your coil, etc.

3. This is sort of a personal preference thing (IMO). Do you think it's the right voltage for you? Do you feel like you have to hold the button down the full 10 seconds to get a good vape? If so, try increasing it incrementally. If not, then you're good. :)

I have yet to have anything drip out of my atomizer, I was just curious if I SHOULD worry about that is all. Ill make sure to ask her about the PG/VG ratio because it isnt on the bottle. And as far as the vape, I only need to hold it down like 2-3 seconds to get a nice cloud of vape.

Hi and Welcome to the ECFs :)

1. You can leave them on

2. have you cleaned your coil over these days? Or are you rotating flavors? Coils get build up and such from ingredients and sweeteners in eliquid and do drop off a little in taste and/or vapor production as they begin to gunk up. If you dont rotate flavors at all then you may get a bit of Olfactory Fatigue or "vapers tongue" which means your smellers and tasters just kinda get tired and lose the ability to taste the same thing for a bit.

3. If it is the spot that works for you as far as flavor and vapor production - then its right :)

I have not cleaned my coils yet, I did look into dry burning and all that jazz, but I purchased several new coils already. Is it fine just to rinse the whole thing out and just let it air dry? Or do I need to do the dry burning. It seemed a little difficult with mine simply because the coil is wrapped around the wick, and the one I tried to take out just threaded and broke apart. So is it cool to just dunk it in some water, and let it air dry for several hours? Or do I need to dry burn? Or just replace the coil?

Dry burn the coil. Remove flavor wick first. Use 3.3 volts giving the coil short bursts of power. It will smoke at first and when coils turn red coil is clean. Next wash to remove dried ash. It's easy.

I think I just did my first dry burn. I watched a video to make sure but tell me if I did it right. I'm also getting no burnt taste.

I removed the top wick. The flavor wick I think its called and dried it off in a paper towell. Removed the chimney and ring of course. I set it to 3.3 volts and kept turning it off and on and continued to blow on it until I saw no more vapor. I replaced the flavor wick back on top replaced the chimney and o-ring / seal. Filled my canister and have been puffing away. I noticed no bad off offput taste so I'm assuming I did it right.

I use MT3s (pretty much the same as your T3s). The heads usually wear out in 2-3 weeks anyway, so I just give them a good rinse whenever I refill my tank. I then dry them off with a tissue, refill the tank, prime the wick ends with a drop of liquid, and I'm good to go. Sure, I might get a little more life out of them with dry burning, but it seems to me to be more effort than it's worth.

You did it right!! The VV3's sre nice little mods. I have a fleet of them going and they have never let me down. Your vape shop steered you right!! And watts is the way to go, much smoother vape.

Protank/T3S/Evod Atomizer cleaning method:

Soak in alcohol (Not Rubbing Alcohol) overnight.
Rinse throughly with warm tap water forcing water into the wick area.
Towel dry and blow out any water.
Remove the gasket and stem.
Remove the flavor wick(s).
Dry burn 6 watts, 5 seconds on/off. Repeat until coils are all turning red and wick is clean.
Blow the burned off crud away.

Hold the flavor wick with tweezer while burning them with a lighter or torch until wick is clean.
Place the flavor wick back on top of the coil.
Or.
Place the flavor wick back on top of the coil.
Dry burn as above to cleanup the flavor wick (4-5 cycles should do it).
Or.
Replace the flavor wick with the material of your choice.

Reinstall the stem and gasket.

Please explain (Smoother Vape?)

I really like my 2 vv3's they are the perfect travel battery. As far as leaving your tank on this depends does your topper leak? If yes then I would take it off if not then you are good to go leaving it on.

Only certain juices are tank crackers these usualy are but not limited to citrus, cinnamon and licorice flavor. Usualy vendors will tell you in the juices descripton if they are tank crackers.

Happy vaping!!!!:vapor:

Thanks everyone. I've been using the same liquid so I never had issues with mixing stuff. Its a carmel tobacco flavor. I might venture I to frutier stuff at some point but I like this one so much. I changed my vv3 to be used on wattage mode and it is much smoother and I think the flavor is better. I keep changing from 7-7.5 as I cannot make up my mind between the two. Thank you everyone for your input. And I'm sure you will see me posting again.

One final question though. I made the mistake of cleaning out my first canister with rubbing alcohol. I did not have a coil or anything in it when I did though as I messed up a wick and ended up tossing it. Will that canister be ok still?

Just rinse the tank thoroughly with warm water.
