Take both plastic tops off with a little tool.

Put about 22 drops of liquid in one of the plastic condoms.
Very SLOWLY push the cartomizer, battery side down, in the liquid.
Go slow, when you see the liquid come up, stop, and then try again.
When the plastic condom is empty, but the white fill at the top still looks dry, add a drop here or there on top.

Put both plastic tops back on, and you're ready to go.

When refilling them, do the same, but only put 10 drops of liquid in the plastic condom.

My experience is the more you fill them, the less liquid it will take.

Don't let them get too dry, because the fill will burn.

that went totally over my head. :( Plastic condom? Plastic tops? Little tool? Are you referring to the rubber caps as being the plastic condom? And what is the little tool?

Sorry, but I'm even more confused. All I know is I think I already may have burnt one by filling it wrong.

EDIT: I figured it out. The white plastic cap and the rubber piece inside. I saw the filling and dripped into the filling. Put the rubber piece and plastic cap on. Now it's working. :D

Thanks for the help. :)

If you fill the cartomizer from the bottom up, the liquid will spread out more even.
Then top the top off if you still see white fill.

I fill 5 empty cartomizers on sunday, they last me all week long.
I let them sit overnight.
Then rotate 2 cartomizers per day.
Use one, refill it, let it sit till the next one is ready to be refilled.
And so on.....

Ok, gotcha. Took me a while to figure it out, but I did. Push the cartomizer, battery side down, in one of the rubber caps (condom) slowley until empty. Check the top to make sure it's not drying out, and drop as needed to keep them from burning out. Thanks.

About how long do these cartomizers last? As long as you fill them? Or do they have a similar lifespan oh an atomizer? (anywheres from 1 second to 5 months ;))

Some people claim they use them over and over and over again.
I use 5 a week, then toss them, they still work, I just don't like the taste anymore.

For me the they start to taste bad after 2 days of refilling them.
Some people wash them out.

I don't bother with that.

Like I said 5 a week.
I buy them for about a buck a piece.

I've only been using them a bit over a month, but making sure to add a bit of liquid whenever vapor drops off I haven't lost one yet. I have, probably, a week's effective use out of one of them that performed particularly well and would still be using it, but it needs cleaned and I'm lazy. So, i'd say yes, they last about what you'd expect.
