Hi again folks,
Well my first attempt at filling a clearomizer was absolutely catastrophic! It leaked straight through and I got the ejuice in my mouth :S

I got a syringe, watched some youtube how to vids and of course took all your advise.
After the 2nd attempt of filling up my 1st clearomizer I realised that the wiring inside had broken so I threw it away! :)

OK, Clearomizer no#2 >> I saw the 2 small holes at each side, inserted the syringe right in and filled up the cartridge! (YEY!) It is producing vapour! (YEY!) >>> BUT >>> Now it tastes burnt! (GRRR!) Why does it taste burnt?! :(

Why am i finding this all so hard!? So far, nothing has gone straight forward :(

Over the last couple of days I have been trying to get the nack of this clearomizer filling I have got ejuice liquid in my mouth 3-4 times! I washed my mouth out straight away but I'm still worried.. I know nicotine is a poison in its liquid form.. Even though it wasn't that much do you think I'm gonna get ill or something? How much ejuice would have to be consumed this way for it to be dangerous?

Also, I'm pretty disappointed that my atomizer cover now doesn't fit over the clearomizer so it looks horrible :(

Someone, please reassure me!!

I have been using the Steel CE2s.. which are like the clearomizers except a steel casing.

What I found that works good is to fill it (Either using the side fill port/holes, or taking out that ring entirely and dripping down the side.. side note if you remove that ring it WILL LEAK if tilted on its side)

Then what I do is place 1 drop directly on the coil-wrapped wick (What you see when you look directly down into the carto) seems to help a lot with wicking... I use my CE2s kind of like dripping.. without the actual dripping. The way I use them would be no good for on the go, though.

You have to wait a little bit between hits with the CE2s, the wicking system is good but not perfect, the small area of the CE2s actually go a long ways in making the wicks work less.. this is why tank systems based on CE2s actually work pretty good. You want to give it time for the wick to pull more juice up from the tank.. You can easily 'outsmoke' a CE2.

But you know what? I love my Ce2s AT HOME. I have them all broken apart and modified (I frayed the wicks on one, because it wasn't wicking at all) and most of them have all the inner rings removed.. but when I use them at home they give THE BEST combination of vapor and flavor.. my god the FLAVOR is incredible with these things.

You said you keep getting e-liquid in your mouth, not sure how this is happening.. when you fill the CE2s are you putting the filling-tip or needle far enough down so the e-liquid isn't al going in the center port? I mean I usually put 1-2 drops DIRECTLY on the center port and I have not gotten liquid in my mouth ONCE.. but also I never NEVER use a CE2 except for completely UPRIGHT... not only do they SUCK on their side, I have mine all tore apart so they leak like crazy for me unless being stood upright..

I even made a little holder for my 510 to store it upright when not in use at home.. yeah I like the CE2s that much

I can't wait for these things to become perfected.

You could be getting a burnt taste because the Clearomizers don't wick well, especially if your juice is thick. There are so many threads and videos on these and how to possibly make them work that it isn't funny. I gave up on them and gave them all away to someone who uses them in his MAP Tanks.

Getting a little juice in your mouth isn't likely to give you nicotine poisoning. Juices are diluted so there isn't enough nicotine to cause you to overdose. I've gotten juice in my mouth so many times that I've lost count. I just spit it out on a paper towel and don't bother to wash it out. I wouldn't worry too much about this. Yes, nicotine is a poison, but you'd have to either drink a whole lot of prepared juice or mess around with pure nicotine (not recommended) before bad things happen.
