Filling My J Tank Nightmare

Have been looking for a solution but cannot find one. I recently got a J tank from electronicstix.com and just got done slotting my carto. Then I was watching the video on their website on how to fill it. He says he lubes the seals but doesnt say what he uses, I was just using my regular juice but I think ive heard of people using 100% PG for this? The ease with which he pushes the cartomizer into the tank and through the top cap, and getting the caps on, is night and day difference from my new tank. I lube the seals up until they are soaking wet. I had to use vice grips to get my cap on the tank, and my friend said he also had to do this with his new tank. I gave up frustrated and with juice all over the place. It seems like my seals are simply too tight no matter how much I lube

Try one of these, Tank Tool/Filler Tip - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks makes it easy to push the carto through the orings without damaging them over time, and makes filling in general so much easier! This video, not about the j tank, but it does show the filler tool in use SMOKtech Slim DCT Tank - YouTube

I agree with you!! I also have difficulty last time where there is no adapter than can help. Now we have some vendor that sells. bigdaddy vapors has one, phiniac.com has it. Thanks to the guys that invented the adapter..

Problem 100% worked out, thank you!!!! I ended up mangling my other cartomizer, so started with a new one filling it up before hand. Checked some of my drip tips but they were too wide, though the other one was the same size but it was narrower towards the bottom. Using that as an adapter let the cartomizer easily slide in the tank.

Vapes great too!!!!

that tank tool is an absolute must for anything other than the DCTs, the o-rings on the higher end tanks are much much tighter and hold the cartos much better. ive gone through 2, they didnt break, they grew legs... fortunately im using a tank that has a fill port so i can get away without one til the 2 i just ordered come in.

there is the Siam Tank Tool and the Slap Yo Mama Adapter, the Siam is cheaper and more widely available, but the Slap Yo Mama comes in your choice of delrin or stainless steel
