Hi
i want to ask several question regarding carto usage:
1. i need to fill a new empty carto in the 1st time till it full. I took 1.4 ml Boge carto and dropted about 25 drops. Its about 1 ml. After that i tried to vape it and it had s burnt taste. Maybe the carto was damaged? Do I need to fill it till its full? Also, during the next filling, do i have to fill it till it full ? How do i know when its full when i fill a liquid.
2. If i get a burnt taste after vaping it for a while, how do i know if its because its not good anymore or because that it run out of liquid ? I just dont want to waste juice when the carto finished its life.
3. Durring the next filling ( after the 1st time ) do i also need to fill it till its full?

Thanks

The best way to fill a carto for the first time is from the battery connection end up. This way you ensure there is juice throughout the carto. One way of doing this is by using the condom method of filling. Take one of the condoms that came with the carto and fill it about 2/3rd full of juice. Using the battery end of the carto, SLOWLY push it down into the condom. You can tell when a carto is full because it will have a slushy look at the top when it's full. If it dosen't look slushy yet, keep adding juice until it does. You can vape at this point. The way to tell if you need to refill is by the flavor of the juice. If you've been vaping for awhile, and the flavor starts to taste alittle off, it's time to refill. It won't take as much to fill after the first fill, but again, get it to the slushy point. If you overfill, just blow the excess out onto a papertowel. If you've been using the same carto for several days and you know it's full, but the flavor still tastes off then it's probably time to replace the carto. Hope this helps you! Welcome to ECF!

Cartos will last longer if you keep them wet. If you let a carto get too dry, and it burns, it's done...trash it, because you'll never get that burnt taste out of it.

Youtube videos on the condom method, and also the Taryn spin, which allows you to get most of the juice back out of a burnt or defective carto, were a big help to me when I got started. Once they are burnt tasting, it won't go away so pitch them. The Juice tho should still be good so you can spin it out to reuse.
