I was able to get some 18ga. needles for a local tractor supply store i was just wondering whats the best way to file/cut the point off the needles to make them blunt?

Good question, I tried with a pair of pliers that can also cut but it kind of compressed the tip, didn't work well even tho it cut it. Then I tried with a metal saw, no luck either, the tip is so small it's shaking too much.
I'm fine tho, I bought some blunt tips somewhere sometime and since the tip are re-usable for years, it's all good. It's one option, buy some blunt tips

I just use a pointy one. I have stabbed myself several times on accident with it though.
Yes i am aware of that, and if the store i bought them at had blunt tips I would have bought them. I cant see spending .90 /pc. on a e-cig vendors site when I can get regular needles for less than .10/pc at a local tractor supply store.
It's not a huge difference plus the fact that (for me) I go through only 1 seringue per month, but still, I bought 100 seringues of 3cc at a local medical supply store for 22$, shipping included. I now have enough seringues to last me for years, I can even gives some to friends and everybody's happy
Dremel with just a basic abrasive disk goes right through them. Then I roll the end around on the side of a grey grinding disk to knock the edges down to a nice smooth half-round (otherwise they catch a bit poking through dripper tips on bottles).
I keep my syringe needles sharp, it makes for a precise tool when cleaning out small bits of crud or positioning a rebuildables coils if the tweezers aren't handy........
Hah, I just noticed I misspelled dremel and it won't let me go back and edit. It must have been autocorrect, because now the iPad wants it to be Drexel instead of dremel.
