Some of you may already know this, but for those of you who don't. Today I went to my local Co-op, an all around feed, livestock supply, hardware, etc. store & got syringes dirt cheap. I bought 16ga needles for 25 cents, 3 ml syringes for 25 cents, & 6ml syringes for 55 cents. I tried them out when I got home & they work great for filling carts. Previously I had bought some syringes from my drugstore but the biggest they had was 28ga & it was too small to draw the eliquid. What's nice about these needles too is they are longer than normal needles cause they're made for cows & horses. You all have been so helpful to me I hope I can help you with this tip.

True :) Great tip. We don't have a co-op here, but there is a pet supply/vetrinary type supply very close to my house.

Those big syringes work good for no-mess transferring e-liquid to little pocket bottles, accurately mixing 1/4 gallon of gas for the weedeater, handy little grease gun for the basement workshop, I have one for every color in my inkjet, topping up "maintenance free" batteries.... the list is long, they are VERY handy.

What do ya mean RjG no Co-op's ?? I thought it was a Canadian thing, lol..... Actually, it appears they were bought out now by Home Hardware and as I'm on the outskirts of town they supply livestock syringes.

I was able to pick up some smaller ones after attempting to use a rather large one (for our horses) to handle the liquids but damn if it didnt' suck up the whole bottle of juice with a light pull.... hahaha

Any large animal supply depot should carry syringes for public sale. I just always feel funny going in there and purchasing them (with all the funny looks) when I'm not buying anything else.

yaaaaa, I know what you mean. The first time I was in there, walked up to the counter with a handful of different sizes... and the girl at the counter pulls out a bag of little ones, like 1cc, with needles. She says, aren't you looking for these? I'm like, "uhhh, no". She says, "but these are free, no charge", I'm stilll clueless... looking at her weirdly.... "no, no I don't think so". Then it clues in.... I say, "oh, they're not for drugs" and she gets a sheepish look on her face and a grin, and says "OH, ok" :)

just walk into any CVS or rite aid or wallgreens store with a pharmacy, I buy 18g syringes there for 0.25 each...
It's a crapshoot. In my state fewer than half of all pharmacies allow needle access without prescription. I suspect they're rural as I haven't found one yet that does here in the city.

Don't feel funny. They are used to selling stranger things than syringes. Or you could just say you're going to fill some fruit with vodka. Then they'll think you're one of the "safe" kind of partiers.
