I'd say that it is more likely due to a returning sense of smell and taste now that you aren't smoking.

Nah, it always tasted that way. You just did not give it a fresh paving of tar before bed . Other things will start tasting and smelling different too, as you shed the build up left behind by analogs.

I have Noticed that too, about a week ago. I thought mabye it had something to do with an e-cig. But, shortly after I woke up with the taste, the day after in fact, I came down with a chest cold. The taste i determined in my own mind was my sinuses draining. After i recovered from the cold, the taste went away. I don't know if this is what you are referring to, but mabye it will help. It is like the juice "flavored my mucous?" I have not noticed a taste any other time. I have been using an ecig for about a month now.
