I would guess the 17670's are too long to fit, as they are longer then the AW 18650's i have. But you are right the AW's do last much longer then the ultrafires.

Weird...my UF 17670's are slightly (under 1mm) shorter than my UF 18650's and exactly the same length as the AW 18650 I just got.

You are correct on the measurement, the 17670 is just slightly shorter

Yep, I was a little surprised to find that the 17670 is the same length as the 18650. One would think the 17670 is 2mm longer but nooooo
