Finally Broke Down

Well I have been a Joyetech kind of guy since I began vaping and generally used the ego series just because of simplicity and price. After getting tired of all the charging and failing batteries which sometimes did not last long. I broke down and went to my local vape shop (TNA Vapes), and picked up the Itaste VV/VW 3. I am really liking it although I am not too sure I like the tank that I bought with it which is the iClear 16b.

It seems very tight to me and compared to my sisters Vision vTox single coil tank hers seems to be more to my liking and perform better than my dual coil iClear 16b. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced similar results with it.

I also ordered the iTaste MVP 2.0 and will be getting it in the mail today. I got it with regular iClear 16 tanks which I have been reading about leaking issues and wishing I would have ordered it with the Kanger Pro 3 mini tank. Excited to finally be upgrading but now I need to find a tank that I like.

Do the Kanger Evod or Mini protanks perform better than the iClears?

The MVP is a great device, good choice! As for the Itaste line of tanks, ditch em. IMHO the 16 doesn't wick well and the 30s is okay, but flavor is muted on both.
With that being said, I LOVE, my mini pt 2 on my MVP, aerotank isn't bad either. I thoroughly enjoyed the mini pt2 right out of the box and once I started rebuilding it, it was that much better. Once you get more familiar with the protanks, they're a great place to learn how to rebuild if you feel inclined to do so.

This. Never have liked my I clear tanks. I love my miniprotanks. The vision V.tox is also a great tank.

You won't regret the MVP, I've had mine for a couple weeks now and absolutely love it.

I like my iClear16 clearos for certain juices. I have yet to have one leak, and between 3 of us in the house, we have a number of them. On the rare occasion, they may leave a drop or two on the connector, but it's manageable. I don't have experience with the 16b or the 30, so I can't speak for those.

I also love the Protank 3 and Mini Protank 3. We have a few of those around as well, and work better on some juices than the iClears do.

If you get the Protanks, make sure to get the air control valve base for it for a few bucks more. I wouldn't pay more than $5 or $6 for one. Make sure to get a real Kanger one, as there are cheap imitations out there, and the control ring isn't free spinning on them. I just wish I could find them in a smaller diameter to match that of the Mini. When on a Mini, it isn't attractive.

I have an Aspire Nautilus that I am now unimpressed with. The flavor is off after a day or two, and the coils seem to produce a burned flavor too easily. I have yet to have a full day without issues of leaking, or burned taste with it, and I've gone through 6 coils, all with the same results. I may try my hand at rebuilding it as a single coil and try that for awhile, but for now, it just collects dust.

Had that same problem with every tank I've gotten- it's the reason I got into rebuildables- I love dark juice and hazelnuts- nuts and dark juices gunk up coils fast. I got into the habit of every time I refilled the tank I would pull the chimney off, take out the flavor wick and dry burn till the gunk came off the coil- put in a fresh flavor wick and reassemble and refill the tank.
Finally I figured I would just get an rba, easier to work on and tbh better flavor -IMHO
Don't get me wrong i still use my aerotank for certain situations but it's become more
Of a backup; that dry burn did let the coil last ALLOT longer though

Love my MVP2 and Itaste VV/VW. I like EVODS and mPT3 for the Itaste VV.

MVP2 just SCREAMS for a BIG TANK. So I got him one: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1497901

Holds 5 ml. Awsome. AND takes EVOD heads!

Yes that looks like a pretty good tank.
Glass tank.
Protection jacket.
Protank heads
Standard 510 tip.
5ml capacity.

Only thing I don't like about it AT FIRST, is it's 510 threaded: BUT, looks like it uses the protank base which means the miniprotank base would fit on it too!!!

The tumblr is pretty good too; got my fiancé one; and it takes manger heads. It's a small volume tank but won't crack with citrus or cinnamon and it's easy to maintain just no air control- she's on an MVP2 and loves it

Just putting it out there I'm still gonna have to say the best tank I've used that is not rba is gonna be the manger airotank

That's the exact setup I use. The MVP 2.0 with a mini protank 2. I love it. I tried the iClear30 and the draw was so tight I could hardly use it. I also use my MVP with a Kanger EVOD glass and it works really well too.

Well I got the Vision v.tox and the Mini Pro Tank 2 and I must say it is making all the difference in the world. I am loving them and will be rebuilding my own PT 2 coils now that I see how easy it is. Now it is just finding those juices I really like. What I think I will like is seeming to not suit me. I am liking the Moo Juice from MBV just need to find a few to go with it.
