I started vaping 4 weeks ago today. I haven't completely given up the analogs but I'm working on it.

I ordered an EGO-T online first but checking out this forum I found a brick and motar just down the road from me so I went to check them out (ecig shop Anoka MN). The owner was very helpful and I ended up getting an EGO-C from him because I wanted to start right away. I figured having 2 kits wouldn't hurt and everything is interchsngeable so it worked out. I've already saved more than enough on analogs to have paid for both so it's all good.

I'm really glad I found this forum and that it's so active. Lots of people and tons of good information.

Thanks everyone !

That was easy, wasn't it? The post I mean. Welcome to the club. Its just a matter of time and you will find that sweet spot. One of these days you will be ready for bed and you will realize you didnt smoke today. You have a great setup, now you just need to find what you like.

Thanks everyone.

When I started I figured that whatever I vaped should taste like tobacco so I bought mostly tobacco flavors.

It doesn't really matter now because tobacco doesn't really taste like tobacco to me either now. I do have some American Blend from Mom and Pop Vapors which is very good and I've been vaping that for a few days now and it really helps with the tobacco cravings.

It's only a matter of time before I quit analogs entirely now.

Congratulations on starting to vape and joining ECF! Those eGo's are a foundation that's hard to beat. No matter what else you get they're always handy and handle many types of cartomizers (cartos) too. It's great to have a local source so you'll always have access to supplies - many of us don't. I started at 24mg to fight the cravings and now I'm down to 18mg. As long as you're smoking less and vaping more you're on the winning track!

When I first ordered liquid I didn't really pay a lot of attention to nicotine levels. I have a lot of 12 mg and some 18 mg.

When I ordered the American blend I ordered 24 mg and that really helps.

I've been unemployed for a while now and because of that I had plenty of time for smoking. I found I was up to about 2 packs a day from 1 1/2 so I figured I needed to do something. It was getting hard to breathe and my house really stunk.

On Friday afternoon I bought 2 packs of cigarettes and finished the last one about 10:00 this morning. I haven't had one since and don't really feel that I need one. I just have to stop buying them when I'm out. I can really do without them.

There you go, it's the peer pressure that's the worst. I had no problem at all quitting analogs, it was when I was around friends who smoked that made me want one. That feeling will become less and less in the next couple weeks, then the next thing you know, you won't mind it at all, shortly thereafter you start standing on the upwind side because you realize how bad analogs stink and don't want your clothes to smell like that anymore.
