My wife and I have been vaping for a week. We each bought a dse901 starter kit from esmokey treats and they have been working great, my wife had gone from 1-1 1/2 packs a day to 3-5 analogs a day. I was a 3 pack a day smoker but I found out after only 1 day of vaping that I was able to cut out 2 packs a day so now I'm only smoking between 3/4 to a pack a day and am starting to feel a little better, mainly I dont feel tired during the day anymore. 1 of my atomizers quit working last night so I'm going to try a good cleaning and see if that fixes it. It quit working right in the middle of a good vapor hit.:-x...LOL but hopefully I can fix it if not I still have 1 good atomizer left. I hope this good lasts till I can fix or replace the other 1.
We like vaping alot and will hopefully be totally analog free in a month or 2.

P.S. We want to thank all the folks who put up all the helpfull tips and advice on what to do when you are 1st starting out. I believe thats how we were able to enjoy vaping so much  I only use the banner below to keep track of how much money saved and analogs avoided

I, too, took up vaping 6 days ago. However, unlike other products, I have managed to quit analogs from the 1st vape . Although really hard at times, especially first thing in the morning, I have managed to find the willpower and suck away at my high nico juice :) until I get the "hit" then switch back to a lower level of nico. I have found it good to have 2 different models to change between the nico levels. My micro cig I use fir the high hit, the big penstyle, for a nice, steady low level.

Good luck with your abstination of analogs

3 packs?
of 20's?
each day?
and you just got a little bit tiered during the day?
WTF?I don't think I have ever smoked more than 2 packs in one day in my life..
what do you do?
thats's 60 cigs!
if you wake up in the morning and go to bed at night then you'r roughly awake 13-15 hours, around 4 an hour? from when you open your eyes to when you close them...
dear oh dear that is an awful lot of tobacco..

yes it is a lot of tobacco and can say I am happy I found these ecigs and this forum. I believe my knocking off 2 packs a day just goes to show how much nic I actually needed for my nic habit and the 40 other analogs were just from the habit of smoking and not my bodies and mind need for the nic. As for what I do, if you mean during my waking hours or if I have time to work between analogs :).I am retired and have been happily since 2003 so my days are free for whatever my wife and I can up with. I think all the free time is what increased my analog usage. So I tried to keep busy. Now instead of spending $360 a month on analogs plus my wifes habit of 1 pack a day which added another $120 a month we now have extra money to save or use for enjoyment.

It's encouraging to see a story like yours. I went the same route - 901 from e-smokey treats. Just placed my order this morning and can hardly wait for it to arrive! Like you, I smoke 3 packs a day, so even being able to cut back to one pack sounds good to me. But I'm really hoping to do better... go down to 1 or 2 a day or drop analogs completely. I don't know that this will save money as I get my cigs dirt cheap, but saving my life is more important.

Good luck, and enjoy - hopefully in a few days I'll be vaping.
