These things don't play nicely in my standard e-cig case, trying to jam them into the little slots intended for cartos forces the caps deeper into the cylinders than they're supposed to go. Net result? Getting them out is much more of a trial than it ought to be.

I don't want the cartos modified, so how do I fix this ......ed case? I haven't had much luck forcing the slots to grow. I thought about using a heat gun, but I suspect that would toast the fuzzy covering stuff. I don't want it to look like it has mange, I just want the cartos to have enough room.

Anybody have a solution?

I don't think you can technically count this as an annoyance with the turbos... it's an annoyance with the case. You'll have to keep searching for something to not like about 'em. :p I actually hate the plastic inserts in those cases, so I ripped all mine out to start with, but yeah, with the Turbs being a bit longer they prob don't fit well.

(also for carrying actual cartos I use a mini Altoids tin, lol)

Belle, I lurv you, but you've gotta work on your reading comprehension. ::ducks::

I said related to the turbos, not with them. I was very exact in my choice of words, I'm not criticizing the cartos in any way. I'm grumping about my case that doesn't fit them properly. That, in a very accurate sense, is a problem that's related to them. Not caused by them, but still related. :D

like that annoying family member that is related to you..wait my analogy makes no sense. good point Gribeau, didn't think about that but you're right.. they are a little longer than some cartos.

Jazzguy- any stores come to mind where you can buy said foam?

I've seen it available in camera shops (photogs often customize their cases in much the same way to protect their gear, just on a bigger scale). I'd imagine hobby shops would also have it. Heck, you could even use aquarium foam like the cart modders use, it would work fine and comes in different sizes and thicknesses.

I'm cheap though. I 'harvested' some out of a box that a new hard drive came in!
