Well,

I've been doing lots of experimenting over the passed couple of months.

Trying new hardware and oh so many different juices. I was searching for something that closely resembles a menthol light cigarette. Ordered Tasty Vapors tobacco Menthol in 48mg nic/10% VG and had them cut down the menthol by 25% I do believe this is as close as it gets!!!! Pretty damn good.
I now have enough juice to last me until I die!!!!! All kinds of flavors, mostly from Tasty Vapor. I have found that Tasty Vapor makes some wonderful flavors, but.....I am partial to something that more closely resembles tobacco.

OOOps. forgot to mention that I also ordered a Doubler from Tasty Vapor in the same formulation. Mixing half of that with half of the 48mg juice. Perfect for me.

I have a question for you, the original poster: did you find that this juice was sort of sweet? I got some of the Tob/Menthol from a member, not from Tasty Vapor directly, and it is sweet tasting to me. Almost like cotton candy. I'm wondering if it's just me, and maybe I should add some extra menthol from another bottle...just wanted to get your opinion. It does taste good though. Not bad at all. Just doesn't remind me of a menthol cig!

Hi Rags,

Yes, I would say that there is a sweetness to it when taking a drag. I think that the exhale is what is giving me the tobacco flavor. I think the sweetness comes from the menthol, which is why I had it cut by 25% I have also tried this flavor uncut, with full menthol and found to be too sweet and overpowering on the menthol.

It's not just you. I ordered a bottle of their menthol and thought I was standing in the middle of a cotton candy stand at the state fair. I emailed TV and they told me what they use for the flavor (I can't remember the name of it), and they said that yes, it does have that cotton candy taste.

Way too sweet for me - like burnt sugar - not like menthol at all.

Ethyl Maltol is frequently used to 'sweeten' up tobacco flavors, and can have a caramel / cotton candy kind of feel to it.

Looking at the ingredients list on a bottle of TV, it looks like thats one of the ingredients he sometimes uses.. Perhaps this is what you're tasting?
